UAV Systems Engineer at Neros Technologies

We’re hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years.</p> <p><strong>What you will be doing</strong></p> <p><span class="notion-enable-hover" data-token-index="0">Neros Tech is looking for a UAV Systems Engineer to work on prototyping and improving unmanned aerial platforms. If you have hands-on experience with FPV, electronics, and firmware, we'd love to have you on the team!</span></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assembling FPV drone prototypes of various classes</li> <li>Installing and connecting electronic components: FC, ESC, GPS, VTX, RX, antennas, PDB</li> <li>Soldering, cable routing, and maintenance of connectors and power systems</li> <li>Configuring Betaflight, calibrating sensors</li> <li>Diagnosing overheating, vibrations, and failures; relaying technical feedback to engineers</li> <li>Repairing prototypes after test flights</li> <li>Documenting the assembly process: maintaining build notes and wiring diagrams</li> <li>Working with measuring instruments (multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer)</li> <li>Testing drones post-assembly, analyzing logs, optimizing parameters</li> <li>Participating in the improvement of UAV design and configuration</li> </ul> <p><strong>You should have the following</strong></p> <ul> <li>1+ year of hands-on experience with FPV / robotics</li> <li>Experience with Fusion360 / SolidWorks at the level of 3D printing</li> <li>Experience building drones from scratch: soldering, assembly, configuration</li> <li>Understanding and hands-on experience with control systems: ELRS, CRSF, SBUS</li> <li>Experience configuring and working with Betaflight / INAV / ArduPilot</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience with 3D printing and 3D printer maintenance (priority)</li> <li>SMD soldering experience (priority)</li> <li>Experience with video systems: Analog 5.8, DJI, Walksnail, HDZero</li> <li>Understanding of VTX, antennas, RSSI/LQ, and RF interference</li> <li>Basic electronics knowledge: PDB, LiPo/Li-ion, BEC/step-down</li> <li>Understanding of STM32 (F4/F7/H7), UART/SPI/I2C/CAN</li> <li>Experience with Linux, Raspberry Pi, GStreamer, OpenHD</li> <li>English at B2 level</li> <li>Piloting skills</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
