<p><strong>Overview</strong></p>
<p>VectorUSA is seeking an experienced <strong>Physical Security Project Manager</strong> to join our Torrance office. The successful candidate will lead infrastructure projects that integrate <strong>physical security systems with enterprise network environments</strong>, including surveillance, access control, and video management systems (VMS).</p>
<p>This role is responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client objectives. The Project Manager will act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, clients, engineers, and vendors—bridging business goals with technical implementation while maintaining disciplined project management practices and exceptional communication.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of <strong>physical security system architecture</strong>, including IP-based video surveillance, access control systems, edge devices, cloud-managed platforms, and supporting network infrastructure. Experience with leading manufacturers such as <strong>Axis Communications, Avigilon, Brivo, Verkada, Hanwha Vision, and Identiv</strong> is strongly preferred.</p>
<p><strong>What Your Typical Day Will Be</strong></p>
<p><strong>Project Lifecycle Leadership</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage multiple concurrent <strong>physical security projects</strong> through all phases—initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing—aligned with PMI/PMBOK standards</li>
<li>Oversee deployment of <strong>on-premise and cloud-based security solutions</strong>, including video surveillance, access control, and VMS platforms</li>
<li>Ensure all systems meet technical requirements, compliance standards, and client expectations</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Technical Coordination</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with engineering teams deploying solutions from <strong>Axis, Avigilon, Brivo, Verkada, Hanwha Vision, and Identiv</strong></li>
<li>Coordinate system design and integration across <strong>IP cameras, NVRs, cloud VMS platforms, access control panels, credentialing systems, and mobile access solutions</strong></li>
<li>Support integrations between physical security platforms and <strong>enterprise networks, identity management systems, and cloud services</strong></li>
<li>Maintain working knowledge of <strong>low-voltage systems, structured cabling, PoE infrastructure, and network dependencies for security systems</strong></li>
<li>Oversee system configurations including camera provisioning, access control programming, and VMS setup</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Stakeholder & Client Communication</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders</li>
<li>Conduct kickoff meetings, progress updates, and project closeouts</li>
<li>Translate technical security concepts into business-relevant language for clients</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Scope, Schedule & Budget Management</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and maintain detailed <strong>project schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans</strong></li>
<li>Manage scope and change control processes</li>
<li>Track progress using tools such as <strong>Microsoft Project or similar platforms</strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Site Assessments & Implementation Oversight</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Conduct <strong>site surveys, security assessments, and job walks</strong> to validate design and installation readiness</li>
<li>Partner with Estimation and Engineering teams to develop <strong>accurate proposals, SOWs, and system designs</strong></li>
<li>Oversee installation teams to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to specifications</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Vendor & Partner Management</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Coordinate with manufacturers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery</li>
<li>Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with system specifications and standards</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What You Bring to the Table</strong></p>
<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 8 years of <strong>project management experience in physical security, low-voltage, or integrated systems environments</strong></li>
<li>Proven track record managing deployments involving <strong>video surveillance, access control, and VMS platforms</strong></li>
<li>Hands-on experience with systems from <strong>Axis, Avigilon, Brivo, Verkada, Hanwha Vision, and/or Identiv</strong></li>
<li>Strong understanding of <strong>IP-based security systems, network infrastructure dependencies, and cloud-managed security platforms</strong></li>
<li>Experience managing <strong>multi-site or enterprise-level security deployments</strong></li>
<li>Familiarity with compliance standards and best practices in physical security systems</li>
<li>Experience working within Agile or hybrid project environments is a plus</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Certifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>PMP Certification – Required</strong></li>
<li>Manufacturer certifications (e.g., <strong>Axis Certified Professional (ACP), Avigilon/Verkada certifications, Brivo/Identiv training</strong>) – Preferred</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Education</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in <strong>Engineering, Information Systems, Criminal Justice, or related field</strong> – Added value/Preferred</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Skills & Competencies</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Strong leadership and communication skills for cross-functional coordination</li>
<li>Deep understanding of <strong>project budgeting, forecasting, and financial accountability</strong></li>
<li>Proficiency in project management tools and documentation platforms</li>
<li>Ability to interpret and produce <strong>technical drawings, security system designs, RFPs, and SOWs</strong></li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Other Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to travel for <strong>site visits, client meetings, and project oversight</strong></li>
<li>Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Salary range: <strong>$125,000 – $140,000 annually</strong>, depending on experience and qualifications</li>
