About the Role

<p><strong>Build Critical Infrastructure with VectorUSA</strong></p> <p>VectorUSA is seeking an entry level&nbsp;<strong>Low Voltage Cable Technician </strong>to join our growing team. If you’re skilled in Cat5e/Cat6 and fiber installations and want steady, full-day work on high-impact projects, this role is for you.</p> <p>We’ve spent 36+ years delivering network solutions nationwide, supporting schools, hospitals, enterprises, and government agencies. Join a team where your work directly powers essential systems.</p> <p><strong>Schedule</strong></p> <p>πŸ•’ Monday – Friday | ~6:00 AM – 6:00 PM<br><em>(Start and end times may vary slightly based on project and business needs)</em></p> <p><strong>Work Location &amp; Travel</strong></p> <p><strong>πŸ“ Field-based role – projects across Southern California<br data-start="597" data-end="600"></strong><em data-start="602" data-end="738">Work at a variety of sites across LA, Orange County, Inland Empire, and nearby areas. Travel is required based on project assignments.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Responsibilities (including but not limited to):</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Install, pull, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6 and fiber optic cabling</li> <li>Perform troubleshooting and certification testing</li> <li>Read and follow blueprints and project specs</li> <li>Maintain safe, clean job sites</li> <li>Support project completion alongside field teams</li> <li>Submit daily documentation</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>1+ year of low voltage cabling experience</li> <li>Hands-on experience with terminations, punch-downs, pulling, and testing</li> <li>Ability to read blueprints</li> <li>Strong communication and professionalism on job sites</li> <li>Reliable vehicle (must fit a 6’ ladder) + own tools</li> <li>Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and fingerprinting</li> <li>Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work in field conditions</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Fiber termination experience (2–3 years preferred)</li> <li>Experience using Fluke testers</li> </ul> <p><strong>We Offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>$25–$35/hour (DOE) + consistent full-time hours</li> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision</li> <li>PTO + Paid Holidays</li> <li>401(k) with match</li> <li>Advancement opportunities in a stable, growing company</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why This Role Stands Out</strong></p> <ul> <li>Reliable daytime schedule, long shifts for strong weekly earnings, and the chance to work on meaningful infrastructure projects, not just routine installs.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>VectorUSA is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled.
