<p><span data-contrast="auto">CJ Suppression (CJS) is seeking a driven </span><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Account Executive – Construction</span></strong><span data-contrast="auto"> to expand our footprint across the Southern California construction market. This role focuses on re-engaging previous customers while developing new relationships with general contractors, building owners, construction managers, and facility teams. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">The Account Executive will focus on promoting fire sprinkler new installation, tenant improvements, and retrofit opportunities. This individual will report to the branch general manager and will operate primarily in the field, conducting job walks, project surveys, and customer visits to identify and secure new business. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></p>

<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">Identify and secure direct negotiated sales opportunities for fire sprinkler new installations, TI projects, retrofits, and upgrades.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Conduct job walks and field surveys to develop accurate scopes of work and assess additional opportunities.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Re-engage previous CJS customers and pursue new construction‑focused business in the Southern California region.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Collaborate with the sales team to maintain a strong sales pipeline and participate in weekly activity and strategy meetings.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, jobsite visits, networking, and follow-up communication.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Prepare proposals, estimates, and scopes of work aligned with customer needs and industry standards.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Partner with estimating, service, and operations teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and accurately represented.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Support broader business development efforts including lead generation, presentations, and customer outreach.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Document all proposals, interactions, and pipeline activity in the company CRM.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Work cross-functionally with project managers and internal office teams to ensure smooth project handoff and execution.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>

<p><strong>Required Skills & Qualifications</strong></p>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">Proven B2B sales experience required, preferably within construction, fire protection, life safety services, or another technical field.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with a customer‑first mindset.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Ability to conduct field surveys, job walks, and develop accurate scopes and proposals.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
