They also assist in the development of standards to meet quality specifications.&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Measures of Success:&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>On time completion of inspection processes</li> <li>Maintain the hydro tests per day KPI as published by the business unit</li> <li>Minimize any discrepancies with the filing of data reports from the offsite location</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></p> <p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Supports development and maintenance of quality systems by writing quality plans, including dimension requirements and inspection specifications, by analyzing blueprints to determine critical dimensions</li> <li>Develops inspection and calibration procedures and techniques for quality inspectors</li> <li>Participates in development of quality plans for suppliers</li> <li>Reviews and revises quality plans against specifications and engineering notes</li> <li>Collects data using calibrated gages during inspection of materials</li> <li>Uses data to analyze for trends</li> <li>Generates and creates internal and supplier corrective and preventative actions within quality software that specify issue needing root cause analysis</li> <li>Determines packing slips and certificates of conformance meet receiver requirements</li> <li>Prints out inspection worksheets that detail critical to fit dimensions on part drawings</li> <li>Reviews chemicals and mechanicals on test reports submitted by supplier to verify product measurements</li> <li>Maintains 3-year cycle of archived Quality / American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) documents in following standard requirements</li> <li>Reviews and files receiving documentation for demonstration products during internal and external audit</li> <li>Follows instructions from Taco Cranston’s Sr Quality Assurance Technician for collecting and circulating out gages for calibration, according to due date schedule</li> <li>Performs hydro inspection, final inspection, in-process inspection and non-destructive examinations (NDEs) as needed</li> <li>Performs visual, magnetic particle and liquid penetrant examinations, using x-ray fluorescence (XRF) tools as needed</li> <li>Maintains non-destructive examination (NDE) chemical and department supply inventory</li> <li>Performs daily monitoring of plant weld gas mixture percentages and pressures</li> <li>Complies with all Quality Assurance, International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9000 and company policies and procedures</li> <li>Keeps work area clean and orderly.</li> <li>Performs other duties as required or directed.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Ability to achieve Taco’s inspector certification</li> <li>5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a quality role</li> <li>Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)</li> <li>Familiar with applicable codes and standards, specifically ASME and ISO</li> <li>Knowledge of metrology techniques</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li> <li>Travel may occasionally be required to local company site, Cranston headquarters and vendors</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Work Environment</strong></span></p> <p>This position works in both an office environment using computers and technology as well as in a production floor environment where large equipment and noise are prevalent.&nbsp;
