If you're ready to drive change and make history, apply now!</div><h4>What you’ll do</h4> Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: You will be by Scout motors Inc. integrated in the team responsible for the Inhouse planning by achieving the following:  Assembly Process Optimization  <ul> <li>Support in maintaining and improving assembly and logistics processes to ensure seamless material flow and efficient production operations. Focus on supporting the development and optimization of that meet high-speed assembly requirements and on-time delivery goals. </li> </ul> Manual Processes Management  <ul> <li>Plan the use of manual material handling equipment (e.g., tugger trains, forklifts) and design effective picking and kitting operations. Ensure alignment with assembly schedules to support smooth material movement and on-time delivery. </li> </ul> Automated Processes Oversight  <ul> <li>Implement and manage Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems and select suitable in-house logistics equipment to automate material transport. Integrate these solutions into existing workflows to boost efficiency and reduce dependency on manual handling. </li> </ul> Supermarket Strategy  <ul> <li>Contribute to the design and development supermarket areas for in-house sequenced parts to support streamlined logistics and assembly operations. </li> </ul> Change Management  <ul> <li>Apply change management principles to drive operational improvements and optimize resource allocation. Evaluate and steer change requests to ensure strategic alignment and cost-effectiveness. </li> </ul> Manufacturing Execution System (MES)  <ul> <li>Use MES software to monitor and manage production processes, enabling real-time tracking and resource optimization. </li> </ul> Route Traffic Management  <ul> <li>Contribute to the development and implementation strategies for efficient route traffic within the production facility. Use traffic management tools/software to plan, monitor, and optimize material flow, including contingency planning for potential disruptions. </li> </ul> Compliance and Safety  <ul> <li>Ensure all manual and automated processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Enforce adherence to internal policies and industry regulations. </li> </ul> Cross-Functional Collaboration  <ul> <li>Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and logistics teams to resolve issues related to assembly, material handling, and traffic management. </li> </ul> Performance Analysis  <ul> <li>Track and analyze performance metrics for both manual and automated processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives.</li> </ul> Location & Travel Expectations: <ul> <li>This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Blythewood, South Carolina.</li> <li>This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events. </li> <li>Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.</li> </ul> <h4>What you’ll bring </h4> We expect all Scout employees to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset. Here's what else you'll bring:  <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. An equivalent amount of relevant work experience may be required in lieu of a degree. </li> <li>Minimum of 3 years’ experience in automotive manufacturing or assembly process coordination, including manual (tugger trains, forklifts) and automated (AGVs) systems. </li> <li>Strong knowledge of VDA, ISO, and other automotive industry standards; experience conducting process audits is required. </li> <li>Proven expertise in change management, including evaluating and steering change requests in automotive environments. </li> <li>Experience with route optimization and traffic management tools/software (e.g., TMS, WMS), JIS logistics, and material flow planning. </li> <li>In-depth understanding of compliance requirements, including safety, quality, and regulatory standards. </li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization. </li> <li>Strong communication and teamwork abilities. </li> <li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. </li> <li>Experience managing supplier selection for equipment. </li> <li>Skilled in coordinating implementations in alignment with SOP requirements. </li> </ul> <h4>What you'll gain</h4> The benefits of joining Scout include the chance to build products and a company from the ground up.  This is a chance to create something new and lasting – with an iconic brand at its foundation.  In addition, Scout provides competitive compensation and benefits to support your physical, mental, and financial wellbeing. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
