If you're ready to drive change and make history, apply now!</div><h4>What you’ll do</h4> Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: ProcessAnalysis & Improvement:  <ul> <li>Assess current picking and kitting workflows within the supermarket area and identify optimization opportunities. </li> <li>Implement lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Kanban to improve efficiency and reduce waste  </li> </ul> Material Flow & Inventory Management:  <ul> <li>Design and maintain streamlined picking and kitting processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery to assembly lines. </li> <li>Monitor Inventory levels and ensure compliance with OEM production schedules. </li> </ul> Standardization & Documentation: <ul> <li>Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for picking and kitting operations </li> <li>Document process changes and ensure proper training for team members </li> <li>Support layout planning for material storage and delivery points. </li> </ul> Continuous improvement& KPI Tracking:  <ul> <li>Track and report logistics performance metrics (e.g. delivery accuracy, line stoppage, late deliveries, ect.)  </li> <li>Lead Kaizen workshops and participate in cross-functional improvement projects. </li> <li>Drive Digitalization initiatives for real-time material tracking and process transparency.  </li> </ul> Compliance &Safety:  <ul> <li>Ensure adherence to OEM standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements. </li> <li>Maintain accurate documentation for audits and compliance checks. </li> </ul> Training and Support: <ul> <li>Provide Training: Train Line Feeding employees on proper material handling procedures. Ensure that the team understands the importance of accurate deliveries and follows documented processes.  </li> <li>User Support: Provide ongoing support to users across departments who interact with SAP data. This may include troubleshooting issues, answering questions, or guiding staff through data management processes. </li> </ul> Location & Travel Expectations: <ul> <li>This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Blythewood, South Carolina.</li> <li>This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events. </li> <li>Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.</li> </ul> <h4>What you’ll bring </h4> We expect all Scout employees to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset. Here's what else you'll bring:  Experience: <ul> <li>Proven experience working with SAP, specifically in modules related to materials management (MM), production planning (PP), or warehouse management (WM / EWM). Knowledge of SAP systems as they relate to the in-house logistics material flow environments is critical. </li> <li>Minimum 4+ years in in-house logistics or material flow within an OEM or Tier 1 supplier environment. </li> <li>Strong understanding with Supermarket JIT/JIS Line Feeding production processes, parts, and materials used in automotive manufacturing. </li> <li>Experience with analyzing and redesigning material flow processes for efficiency. </li> <li>Experience implementing lean tools (Kaizen, 5’s, Value Stream Mapping). </li> </ul> Educational Background: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field. An equivalent amount of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. </li> <li>Certifications (Preferred): SAP certifications or process optimization certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) are a plus. </li> <li>Advance knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and logistics optimization.  </li> </ul> Skills: <ul> <li>Strong SAP Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of SAP, especially in modules such as SAP MM, PP, and WM, as well as experience with SAP reporting and data management tools. </li> <li>Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to assess data accuracy, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions. </li> <li>Process Improvement: Ability to identify inefficiencies and optimize processes using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. </li> <li>Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues related to data management or discrepancies in reference data. </li> <li>Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and external partners. </li> <li>Project Management: Ability to manage projects related to system updates, process improvements, or SAP enhancements, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. </li> <li>Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, especially when managing data entry and ensuring the accuracy of reference data in SAP. </li> </ul> Personal Attributes: <ul> <li>Results-Oriented: A strong focus on achieving measurable results, including data accuracy, operational efficiency, and process improvements. </li> <li>Adaptable: Ability to adapt to evolving business needs, system upgrades, and changes in production schedules. </li> <li>Collaborative: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, production, supply chain, and procurement. </li> <li>Continuous Improvement Mindset: Passion for continuously improving processes and driving innovation in data management practices. </li> <li>Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities and tasks. </li> </ul> <h4>What you'll gain</h4> The benefits of joining Scout include the chance to build products and a company from the ground up.  This is a chance to create something new and lasting – with an iconic brand at its foundation.  In addition, Scout provides competitive compensation and benefits to support your physical, mental, and financial wellbeing. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
