If so, then we invite you to read on.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THIS ROLE</strong></p> <p>St. Michael’s is hiring a <strong>Senior Budget Analyst</strong> to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client. As the Senior Budget Analyst, you will review investment &amp; Operations and Maintenance (O&amp;M) budget data for technical and mathematical accuracy, format, adequacy of supporting narrative justification, and conformance with budgetary policy and guidelines. You will be in a client-facing role that will benefit from your knowledge of program planning, scheduling, budget planning/formulation, and cost analysis. Our core value of Teamwork will be paramount to this role as you will develop cost-benefit analyses of proposed budgetary and program actions and advise the Comptroller staff of the most advantageous courses of action.</p> <p><strong>LOCATION</strong></p> <p>Tampa, FL (on-site)</p> <p><strong>WHO YOU ARE</strong></p> <ul> <li>Active <strong>Top-Secret</strong> Clearance (with ability to obtain SCI).</li> <li>Minimum of 10 years’ experience in DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) policy, process, and procedures.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li> </ul> <p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Analyze various Budget Execution reports (STH, SOF, ODL) and provide accounting support; continually monitor expenditures in relation to planned execution levels.</li> <li>Oversee Funds Control operations. Issue FADs and draft target loads in DEAMS/GFEBS.</li> <li>Review investment &amp; Operations and Maintenance (O&amp;M) budget data for technical and mathematical accuracy, format, adequacy of supporting narrative justification, and conformance with budgetary policy and guidelines.</li> <li>Review investment (RDT&amp;E and Procurement) budget preparation reports to validate and populate financial data manually, and use of DTIC and PPBES-MIS.</li> <li>Review for technical and mathematical accuracy: <ul> <li>All required budgetary documents and exhibits to support the Congressional Justification Book (CJB) for the Military Intelligence Programs.</li> <li>Draft Congressional Unfunded Requirements (UFR) documents for current budget year.</li> <li>All Supplemental/ Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO) appropriations.</li> <li>Classified portfolio funding and budgetary documents.</li> <li>Congressional budget review briefings and presentations.</li> <li>Draft responses to appropriations language, Office of Management and Budget (OMB) directives, and Treasury Department guidelines pertaining to the assigned segments of the SOF AT&amp;L Budget.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Develop cost-benefit analysis of proposed budgetary and program actions and advise the Comptroller staff of the most advantageous courses of action.</li> <li>Review justifications for technical and mathematical accuracy estimates to be used in the presentation/enactment of the budget.&nbsp;</li> <li>Review classified and unclassified budget estimates, requests for allotments for technical and mathematical accuracy on behalf of the Program Executive Officers (PEOs) and Directors.</li> <li>Review, analyze, and make recommendations on the submissions for requests, and the application of Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO) funds</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><div> <p><strong>WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?</strong></p> <p>At St. Michael’s, we believe in rewarding hard work and supporting the people who keep our country safe.
