Working primarily on site, this role supports mission-critical programs in a highly technical, secure environment where precision, coordination, and schedule certainty are essential. The surrounding Space Coast area offers a strong engineering and defense presence, coastal living, and proximity to Melbourne, Cocoa Beach, and the broader Central Florida region.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Sr Construction Project Engineer will lead in supporting the execution of assigned projects and ensuring the achievement of the project’s technical scope, schedule, and financial requirements and metrics. This role involves providing expert-level assistance to ensure the successful planning and execution of construction projects.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Sr Construction Project Engineer may be required to travel or relocate to meet project requirements. &nbsp;Willingness to travel for project assignments is highly desirable.&nbsp;</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Lead and oversee the execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to technical requirements, schedules, and financial metrics.&nbsp;</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, offering expertise in daily technical activities required for project planning and successful execution.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to strategize and implement project plans that meet defined objectives.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Interpret complex design specifications, oversee quality control, and resolve intricate technical issues to ensure project completion at superior standards.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Prepare and oversee project technical design submittals, reports, and documentation of inspections and testing results.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Monitor and evaluate subcontractor and craft progress, ensuring alignment with project requirements and standards.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Manage subcontractor requests for information (RFIs) and liaise with engineering teams as necessary for seamless project execution.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Review and analyze construction subcontractor implementation plans, identifying and mitigating potential risks or issues.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Play a key role in establishing project baselines for cost, schedule, and critical project parameters.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Oversee the project master schedule, plan and implement daily activities, and manage the three-week look-ahead schedules.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Oversee the process to secure the necessary permits, environmental approvals, and licenses.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Lead a strong safety and quality program on the project.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Lead the commissioning, closeout, and turnover process.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</strong></span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;8 or more years of work-related experience in the construction industry, demonstrating progressive responsibilities and leadership.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Experience with Procore or similar management software is a plus.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;TAKT planning experience is a plus.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Strong communication skills, and the ability to work well with clients.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Technical and application knowledge of the built environment infrastructure, including buildings and infrastructure.&nbsp;</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Must have experience in the construction industry.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Comprehensive knowledge of project estimation and scheduling techniques.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Willingness to travel occasionally to meet project demands.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to navigate and move around the construction site, which may involve walking, climbing ladders and scaffolding, and standing for extended periods on uneven surfaces.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to lift to 50 pounds.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to handle tools, equipment, and perform tasks that require coordination and manual skills.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Manual dexterity, hearing, mental acuity, typing, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, talking, and visual acuity.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to operate a motor vehicle.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to stand and sit for periods longer than 30 minutes but not to exceed two hours consecutively.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to print and draw letters, numbers, words, characters, and symbols that are legible and understood by others.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to learn complex tasks and remember how to complete tasks without assistance once trained.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to control behavior when encountering stressful situations or short deadlines and to maintain a high level of concentration.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Quick thinking and decision-making ability to address issues and challenges that may arise during construction.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp; &nbsp;Endurance to work in various weather conditions and handle the physical demands of supervising a construction project.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">• &nbsp;
