Overview   We’re looking for a CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT - TRAVELING to join our dynamic team working across the USA and internationally. US Citizenship is required along with a current and valid US Passport. You will plan, direct, or coordinate activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. You will participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, implementation and completion. Travel is expected and may required on projects up to 6-8 months or longer until project completion. Job Responsibilities  <ul> <li>Establish a strong safety culture at the construction job site. Monitor contractors, subcontractors and employees for adherence to safety regulations, and compliance with OSHA regulations.</li> <li>Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.</li> <li> Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines.</li> <li> Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.</li> <li> Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with construction documents, building and safety codes, or other regulations.</li> <li> Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with environmental regulations.</li> <li> Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems.</li> <li> Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.</li> <li> Investigate damage, safety incidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper construction procedures are being followed.</li> <li> Prepare contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors.</li> <li> Develop or implement quality control programs</li> </ul>   Qualifications <ul> <li>A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 3 years of relevant and progressive experience related to the duties listed above. </li> </ul>   Physical Requirements <ul> <li>Ability to navigate and move around the construction site, which may involve walking, climbing ladders and scaffolding, and standing for extended periods on uneven surfaces.</li> <li> Ability to lift to 50 pounds.</li> <li> Ability to handle tools, equipment, and perform tasks that require coordination and manual skills.</li> <li> Manual dexterity, hearing, mental acuity, typing, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, talking, and visual acuity.</li> <li> Ability to operate a motor vehicle.</li> <li> Ability to stand and sit for periods longer than 30 minutes but not to exceed two hours consecutively.</li> <li> Ability to print and draw letters, numbers, words, characters, and symbols that are legible and understood by others.</li> <li> Ability to learn complex tasks and remember how to complete tasks without assistance once trained.</li> <li> Ability to control behavior when encountering stressful situations or short deadlines and to maintain a high level of concentration.</li> <li> Quick thinking and decision-making ability to address issues and challenges that may arise during construction.</li> <li> Endurance to work in various weather conditions and handle the physical demands of supervising a construction project.</li> <li> Strict adherence to safety protocols and the ability to enforce safety standards on the construction site.</li> <li> Adherence to personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements when on the construction site, such as hard hats, safety vests, and steel-toed boots.</li> </ul> Salary Range: $91,000 - $169,000 DOE Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  <div class="content-conclusion">This job description may be changed to include new responsibilities and tasks or change existing ones as management deems necessary.
