This role requires a combination of strong technical expertise, strategic leadership, and the ability to foster an engineering culture of innovation and excellence.</p> <p>The <strong>Product Engineering</strong> team at Instabase is responsible for all products across the platform, including core ML capabilities, no-code/low-code tools for automation, and scalable execution backends. Our teams serve both external customers and internal users, solving real-world use cases through frequent cross-team collaboration.</p> <h3><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Team Leadership</strong> – Build, manage, and develop a team of high-performing engineers, providing mentorship and career development while fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.</li> <li><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong> – Partner with product, design, and technical writing teams to define the roadmap and drive execution.</li> <li><strong>End-to-End Execution</strong> – Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from capacity planning and roadmapping to prototyping and production deployment.</li> <li><strong>Technical Leadership</strong> – Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions within your product area.</li> <li><strong>Quality &amp; Operational Excellence</strong> – Establish and uphold best practices to maintain a high-quality bar for all deliverables, ensuring reliability, scalability, and usability.</li> <li><strong>Innovation &amp; AI Integration</strong> – Leverage modern AI tools to improve team productivity and enhance product capabilities.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>About You</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Experience</strong> – 5+ years of engineering management experience, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.</li> <li><strong>AI &amp; Data Expertise</strong> – Strong background in AI, ML, and data-driven products, with experience building and scaling intelligent applications.</li> <li><strong>Startup Mentality</strong> – Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment, navigating ambiguity, and driving impactful results.</li> <li><strong>Technical Proficiency</strong> – Deep knowledge of modern technology stacks, including cloud infrastructure, container orchestration systems, TypeScript, React, and related tools.</li> <li><strong>SaaS &amp; Enterprise Experience</strong> – Proven ability to deliver SaaS-based enterprise software solutions at scale.</li> <li><strong>Process &amp; Productivity</strong> – Experience implementing SDLC, and leveraging modern productivity software (Jira, Confluence, Figma, etc.).</li> <li><strong>AI-Driven Development</strong> – Passion for integrating modern AI tools to optimize development workflows.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation</strong>: The base salary range for this role is $280,00 to $300,000 + bonus, equity, and<a href="https://instabase.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/2023-Instabase-Benefits-Guide-%E2%80%94-US.pdf"> </a>benefits.
