The engineer will own a product and complete all the engineering tasks required to take a product from concept to launch. They will possess substantial expertise in design and manufacturing and demonstrate a strong knowledge of engineering processes.   Essential Functions:  <ul> <li>Lead assigned projects to completion with full ownership and an appropriate amount of oversight.<span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"134245417":false,"201341983":0,"335551550":1,"335551620":1,"335559685":720,"335559737":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":160,"335559740":240,"335559991":360}"> </li> <li>Create detailed CAD models in SolidWorks including part and assembly level documentation. </li> <li>Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering Manager on defining customer requirements. </li> <li>Schedule and lead effective meetings with cross functional teams. </li> <li>Ability to set and achieve milestones and deadlines independently. </li> <li>Ability to translate market requirements into engineering requirements. </li> <li>Perform tolerance analysis on critical-to-function design elements. </li> <li>Ability to identify strength critical areas and perform appropriate analysis (hand calculations, FEA, etc.) </li> <li>Collaborate with Asia manufacturing partners to communicate design intent and quality expectations.
