This role will support the Supply Chain Manger in procurement of goods and services necessary to deliver flight hardware to orbit. This role will also support the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of procurement processes and act as an advocate across the business. This role will require someone who wants to dig in, design the processes, and own material and service requirements through delivery. We are looking for a reliable problem solver, someone who can demonstrate the ability to identify issues and develop scalable solutions.  RESPONSIBILITIES <ul> <li>Developing and executing sourcing and procurement strategies to meet program requirements with focus on optimizing price, delivery, and quality </li> <li>Establishing and ensuring compliance with ethics and procurement policies/procedures </li> <li>Coordinating with internal teams/stakeholders to diagnose and forecast needs, and develop supply chain strategies to support key projects and efforts </li> <li>Managing and supporting key supplier relationships to ensure compliance, transparency, quality, schedule accuracy, and cost-control, including occasional travel </li> <li>Negotiating pricing, lead times, and basic terms with suppliers in support of contracting and sourcing efforts to achieve cost, delivery, and quality targets </li> <li>Identifying and pursuing strategic agreements with key suppliers such as stocking agreements, re-order points, and other strategic opportunities </li> <li>Driving continuous improvement of procurement processes, including collaboration with key stakeholders </li> <li>Owning the procurement process from requirement definition to delivery, including supplier onboarding, RFQ's, order release, tracking/status, and invoice approval  </li> <li>Participating in special projects/extending past written role responsibilities as needed to support the team and organization </li> </ul> QUALIFICATIONS <ul> <li>Associate’s degree and two years of relevant experience, OR 4+ years of relevant experience in absence of a degree </li> <li>Aerospace/Defense Industry experience </li> <li>Procurement/Supply Chain/Vendor Management Experience </li> <li>Experience using ERP/MRP systems </li> <li>Strong organizational skills </li> <li>Excellent communication, problem solving, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking skills </li> <li>Experience with Microsoft Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel </li> </ul> PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE <ul> <li>Space-technology supply chain experience </li> <li>Experience working in a manufacturing environment </li> <li>Experience in any of the following functional areas – Propulsion, Structures, Power Systems, Avionics </li> </ul> COMPENSATION <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="2" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Base Salary:  $90,000- $110,000</li> </ul> <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="2" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="2" data-aria-level="1">Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave </li> </ul> Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.  ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS <ul> <li>Work Location—this a fully onsite position based out of our Centennial, CO or Long Beach, CA office.</li> <li>Work environment—the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job.</li> <li>Physical demands—the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.</li> </ul> This position will be open until it is successfully filled.
