This role will support the team in planning of procurement, inspection, and production tasks for goods and services necessary to deliver flight hardware to orbit. This role will also support the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of production and material related processes and act as an advocate across the business. This role will require someone who wants to dig in, design the processes, and own material and service requirements through delivery. We are looking for a reliable problem solver, someone who can demonstrate the ability to identify issues and develop scalable solutions.  RESPONSIBILITIES <ul> <li>Accurately pick aerospace parts and components from inventory locations based on sales order specifications and pick lists </li> <li>Verify part numbers, quantities, and descriptions against order requirements to prevent errors </li> <li>Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and/or ERP systems to track inventory and order status </li> <li>Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts - if applicable, specify training requirements) safely and efficiently to retrieve and move materials </li> <li>Conduct visual inspections of components for damage or defects during the picking process and report any discrepancies </li> <li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the picking area. </li> <li>Collaborate with the packaging and shipping teams to ensure a smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment </li> <li>Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and aerospace industry regulations </li> <li>Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting as needed </li> <li>May assist with other shipping department duties, such as packing or labeling, when required </li> </ul> QUALIFICATIONS <ul> <li>Requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education </li> <li>Experience in the aerospace or similar highly regulated manufacturing industry is a significant plus </li> <li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential </li> <li>Ability to read and interpret sales orders, part numbers, and product specifications </li> <li>Basic computer proficiency, including experience with WMS, ERP systems, or inventory management software </li> <li>Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods </li> <li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills </li> <li>Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment </li> <li>Understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing or warehouse setting </li> <li>Previous experience with aerospace components or high-value, sensitive materials </li> </ul> COMPENSATION <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="2" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Base Salary:  $20- $26 per hour </li> </ul> <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="2" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="2" data-aria-level="1">Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave </li> </ul> Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.  ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS <ul> <li>Work Location—this a fully onsite position based out of our Long Beach, CA office.</li> <li>Work environment—the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job.</li> <li>Physical demands—the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.</li> </ul> This position will be open until it is successfully filled.
