We are looking for a collaborative communications leader and exceptional writer to build a unified strategy that connects our Ambassadors, customers, employees, and the public. As the guardian of the Plexus voice, you will define how our brand sounds and ensure our messaging builds trust, strengthens engagement, and supports growth. As Plexus expands into more channels, you will help evolve how we reach and connect with our audiences. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, and international teams, you will lead communications for product launches, promotions, incentives, events, and company initiatives while bringing organization and discipline to execution. Align internal and external communications around audience needs and business priorities, with clear goals, channel plans, and ownership that support engagement, recruiting, and retention.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Strengthen and protect the Plexus voice. Establish practical voice and tone standards that bring consistency to messaging while adapting appropriately to different audiences, markets, and channels.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Improve communication planning and execution. Implement processes that clarify priorities, streamline approvals, manage competing requests, and help the team deliver accurate, compelling communications on time.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Demonstrate and improve results. Establish performance measures and use data and audience feedback to improve message relevance, campaign effectiveness, and the Ambassador, customer, and employee experience.</li> </ul> Performance Accountabilities Lead communications strategy and brand voice <ul> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Set the vision, strategy, and goals for the communications team, connecting daily execution to company priorities.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Guide messaging, copywriting, and editing to ensure communications consistently reflect the Plexus brand.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Translate complex or sensitive information into clear, audience-appropriate messages.</li> </ul> Partner with Sales and Marketing to support growth <ul> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Develop coordinated communications plans for product launches, incentives, promotions, international initiatives, and events.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Build strong cross-functional relationships that align stakeholders on priorities, timing, and messaging.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Deliver relevant communications across channels that help Ambassadors grow their businesses and strengthen customer engagement and retention.</li> </ul> Strengthen internal communications <ul> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Guide employee communications that bring the company’s mission, vision, and values to life.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Help employees understand products, initiatives, and business priorities through timely, meaningful messaging.</li> </ul> Build team capability and operational discipline <ul> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Establish clear roles, expectations, workflows, and accountability.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Hire, coach, and develop team members while removing barriers to effective execution.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Manage vendor relationships and deliverables to support quality and departmental goals.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Monitor results, report progress, and recommend creative, practical improvements grounded in data and feedback.</li> </ul> Performance Qualifications <ul> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Communications leadership: Eight years leading communications and/or marketing teams, including at least three years as a manager.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Exceptional writing and editing: Demonstrated ability to create compelling copy, develop a distinctive brand voice, and coach others to apply it consistently.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Strategic planning and execution: Experience turning business objectives into coordinated communications plans with measurable results.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Collaboration and influence: Ability to build productive relationships across functions, manage competing interests, and gain alignment.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Organization and adaptability: Strong planning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate obstacles and adjust to changing priorities.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">People leadership: Experience hiring, developing, and motivating teams while establishing clear expectations and accountability.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Judgment and discretion: Ability to communicate difficult, sensitive, and confidential information with tact.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, business, or equivalent related experience.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Work environment: Plexus is onsite 5 days a week.</li> </ul> About Plexus </div> </div> </div> </div> Founded in gut health.
