Echodyne offers its radars to companies working in Automotive, Transportation, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Border Security, Smart Cities, Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), and Airspace Management including Urban Air Mobility (UTM).</span></p> </blockquote> <hr></div><h2><span style="color: rgb(0, 92, 185);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>Echodyne is seeking a Principal Systems Integration and Test Engineer to serve as the technical leader for system-level integration, test, and verification of advanced radar products. </strong></span></h2> <p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-darkreader-inline-color="">This role is ideal for a software-minded systems engineer who thrives at the intersection of embedded software, hardware, and real-world system performance.</span></p> <p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" data-darkreader-inline-color="">You will own the end-to-end system verification strategy, lead complex integration efforts, and be the technical authority ensuring radar systems meet performance, reliability, and customer requirements across development, qualification, and production.</span></p> <h3><strong><span style="color: rgb(0, 92, 185);" data-darkreader-inline-color="">RESPONSIBILITIES</span></strong></h3> <ul> <li>Serve as the technical lead for system integration, test, and verification of radar products, including system bring-up, debugging, and performance</li> <li>Work with internal operations and customer-facing teams on rapid issue resolution</li> <li>Define and own the system-level verification strategy, requirements coverage, execution traceability, and verification reporting</li> <li>Architect scalable test frameworks, automation, and tooling to enable repeatable, verification-first system testing</li> <li>Identify integration risks early and drive mitigation strategies</li> <li>Support regulatory and compliance testing</li> </ul> <h3><span style="color: rgb(0, 92, 185);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in&nbsp;Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience</li> <li>10+ years&nbsp;of experience in systems integration, test, and verification of complex embedded systems</li> <li>Strong&nbsp;systems mindset&nbsp;with hands-on experience in:</li> <li> <ul> <li>Embedded Linux systems with Digital Signal Processing and high-speed networking</li> <li>Scripting (e.g., Python, PERL, similar)</li> <li>Test automation and data analysis (e.g., MatLab)</li> <li>Debugging at hardware and software boundaries (e.g., GDB, Wireshark, etc.)</li> </ul> </li> <li>Experience leading system-level integration across hardware and software</li> <li>Experience leveraging modern developer productivity tools (e.g., AI-assisted coding, test generation, data analysis, or debugging workflows</li> <li>Experience defining verification strategies and test architectures for production systems</li> <li>Exemplary technical communication skills demonstrated from internal and external customer engagements</li> <li>Ability to travel up to 50%</li> </ul> <h3><span style="color: rgb(0, 92, 185);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE&nbsp;<br></strong><strong>(Looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills)</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li>Experience with&nbsp;radar, RF sensing, signal processing, or advanced sensor systems</li> <li>Background in&nbsp;defense, aerospace, or safety-critical systems</li> <li>Familiarity with environmental, EMI/EMC, or system qualification testing</li> <li>Experience supporting customer acceptance or operational testing</li> </ul> <blockquote> <p>Echodyne’s technology is export controlled by the U.S. Government and we must evaluate an applicant’s eligibility to handle export-controlled information or obtain required Government authorizations.  Therefore, we will ask you as part of the application process to identify whether you are a U.S. Citizen or green card holder, or have asylum/refugee status in the U.S.&nbsp;</p> </blockquote> <hr> <h3><span style="color: rgb(0, 92, 185);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>WHAT WE OFFER</strong></span><strong><br></strong></h3> <h3>This is an exempt role.&nbsp;</h3><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">The expected annual salary range for this role is</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$164,594</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$246,788 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>If your skills generally align but not perfectly, please apply anyway.
