Every year, $15B worth of products go through UnitX's AI inspection system to ensure quality.
Help us hire the engineers, operators, and go-to-market teammates who ship physical AI into the world's leading factories.
Role Overview:
As a Technical Recruiter at UnitX, you will own full-cycle hiring for our most technical roles — robotics, ML, embodied AI, perception, and simulation engineering — reporting to our Head of People. You will partner closely with engineering hiring managers (and, where helpful, GTM leaders) to bring in the people who build and deploy our AI inspection systems. The people you hire will ship to real factory production lines and directly impact the $15B+ of products inspected through UnitX every year.
What You'll Do:
You will run full-cycle recruiting across active technical reqs — sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and closing.
You will write custom outbound for our hardest roles (ML, embodied AI, sim, robotics, perception) to reach candidates who aren't on the open market.
You will partner with hiring managers to calibrate rubrics, run debriefs, and hold the bar across the loop.
You will own the candidate experience end-to-end in Ashby — clean pipelines, fast scheduling, structured scorecards.
You will partner with the Head of People + Finance on offer construction and closing.
You will support GTM hiring when it makes sense — Sales, CS, Solutions, AE roles — as the team grows.
You will work as a strong IC inside a small team, reporting to the Head of People and learning from them on the harder calls.
Who You Are:
Degree or equivalent experience.
2–5 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience at a startup or tech company.
Have personally closed engineering hires at a high-growth tech company.
Strong experience with Ashby (or comparable ATS) and structured interview processes.
Ability to explain tradeoffs and candidate read-outs clearly to hiring managers.
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and at the pace of an early-stage company.
Preferred Qualifications:
Robotics, hardware, applied AI, or deep-tech recruiting experience.
GTM recruiting exposure — Sales, CS, Solutions Architect, Account Executive, BDR roles.
Technical fluency — comfortable holding a 30-minute conversation with an engineer about their work.
