While this is a full-stack environment, your focus will be primarily on <strong data-start="1378" data-end="1424">backend services, APIs, and data pipelines</strong> that support clinician workflows, reporting, and internal tools.</p> <p data-start="1493" data-end="1800">You’ll work closely with product, design, and other engineers to deliver <strong data-start="1566" data-end="1607">high-impact, production-grade systems</strong>. There’s also flexibility to contribute to front-end work (dashboards, report builders, internal tools), but the core of your impact will be in building <strong data-start="1761" data-end="1797">robust, scalable backend systems</strong>.</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li data-start="1830" data-end="1949">Design, build, and maintain <strong data-start="1858" data-end="1901">backend services, APIs, and data models</strong> that power clinician workflows and reporting.</li> <li data-start="1830" data-end="1949">Collaborate with front-end engineers to integrate backend functionality into dashboards, report builders, and internal clinical tools.</li> <li data-start="1830" data-end="1949">Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of data-rich applications</li> <li data-start="1830" data-end="1949">Participate in system architecture discussions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.</li> <li data-start="1830" data-end="1949">Debug and troubleshoot issues across backend services and data pipelines.</li> <li data-start="1830" data-end="1949">Partner with product and design to translate complex clinical requirements into&nbsp;<strong data-start="2418" data-end="2441">technical solutions</strong>.</li> <li data-start="1830" data-end="1949">Stay current with modern software engineering practices, especially in backend development.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li data-start="2578" data-end="2668"><strong data-start="2578" data-end="2638">5+ years of professional software engineering experience</strong>, with strong backend focus.</li> <li data-start="2578" data-end="2668">Expertise in&nbsp;<strong data-start="2684" data-end="2736">Python, Node.js, or similar backend technologies</strong>.</li> <li data-start="2578" data-end="2668">Solid experience with&nbsp;<strong data-start="2764" data-end="2801">relational and/or NoSQL databases</strong>, data modeling, and API design.</li> <li data-start="2578" data-end="2668">Comfortable owning backend features&nbsp;<strong data-start="2874" data-end="2888">end-to-end</strong>, from database design to APIs and integrations.</li> <li data-start="2578" data-end="2668">Experience building&nbsp;<strong data-start="2961" data-end="3007">production-grade, data-driven applications</strong>.</li> <li data-start="2578" data-end="2668">Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) is a plus, but not required.</li> <li data-start="2578" data-end="2668">Strong focus on&nbsp;<strong data-start="3122" data-end="3174">code quality, maintainability, and documentation</strong>.</li> <li data-start="2578" data-end="2668">Thrives in fast-moving, early-stage environments with greenfield projects.</li> <li data-start="2578" data-end="2668">Experience building&nbsp;<strong data-start="3279" data-end="3309">B2B SaaS or internal tools</strong> is a plus.</li> <li data-start="2578" data-end="2668">Healthcare or regulated environment experience is a bonus, but not required.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p class="p1"><span style="font-size: 16px;">We have determined a salary range for this position that takes into account several factors including experience, knowledge, education, skills, and abilities.
