Ready to be part of the experience?  Now, let’s discuss this role and what you will do to help achieve Fever’s mission.</div>  <h2>Role Summary:</h2> As a PR & Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of the company's external and internal communications strategy. This includes drafting media materials, coordinating with journalists and influencers, supporting special events, and ensuring consistent messaging across channels. The role requires a combination of strong writing skills, media intuition, and a proactive, autonomous attitude. <h2>Key Responsibilities:</h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Draft, edit, and coordinate approval of press releases, background checkers, media advisories, Q&As, fact sheets, and related content.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Maintain daily contact with journalists: respond to inquiries, proactively pitch stories, and coordinate interviews.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Assist in organizing and executing press events, influencer activations, and stakeholder meetings.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Manage media monitoring, reporting, and internal trackers: coverage clippings, agendas, media lists, and reporting dashboards.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Monitor competitor activity and industry trends; provide summaries and insights to the team.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Ensure message consistency across paid, earned, shared, and owned media.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Liaise with internal departments (marketing, brand, legal, product) to ensure alignment of messaging.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Act as a brand guardian in external communication, upholding tone, language, and core values.</li> </ul> <h2>Skills & Qualifications:</h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">0–3 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, media relations, or journalism.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Strong sense of autonomy and ownership of tasks and deadlines.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills in [insert required languages, e.g., English and Spanish].</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Familiarity with media databases, monitoring platforms (e.g., Meltwater, Cision), and CMS/social media tools.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Team player with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn.</li> </ul> <h2>Nice to have:</h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Previous experience in an agency, a startup, or a media environment.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Knowledge of crisis communication protocols or reputation management.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Exposure to public affairs or stakeholder engagement.   </li> </ul>   <h4>Benefits & Perks: </h4> <ul> <li>Fever 40% discount: This discount is for personal use only</li> <li>Free Candlelight Event: This voucher is for single use only and valid for 2 people.</li> <li>We offer health, dental and vision insurance with comprehensive coverage through Cigna, including:</li> <li>Medical Plans: Base, High (with no deductible) and HDHP + HSA with $750 contribution </li> <li>2 Dental Plans: we offer a basic and a buy-up plan</li> <li>1 Vision Plan</li> <li>We cover 90% of your medical and vision premiums; the remaining 10% is deducted from your bi-weekly paycheck.  For your dental plan, we will cover up to $30 of your premium per month.</li> <li>Wellhub Membership: Wellhub gives employees unlimited access to a selected number of gyms, studios, classes, training, and wellness apps.
