This highly motivated and customer service-focused professional individual will be responsible for working on site at the client by helping them manage their hazardous waste programs mainly including medical waste material. Triumvirate provides leading institutions in the higher education, life sciences, healthcare, and industrial sectors with diverse services and advice to assist them with compliance management. This position reports directly to the client site in Gaithersburg, MD. Responsibilities:  <ul> <li>Safe pick-up of all regulated medical waste and materials from client sites, also including lab plastics and pathological waste.</li> <li>Use of Triumvirate's computerized waste tracking system.</li> <li>Preparation of all necessary documentation for the pick-up and drop-off of waste.</li> <li>Understand OSHA regulations and Triumvirate’s Health and Safety Practices.</li> <li>Collaborate effectively with coworkers in a team environment, while also being able to work independently when needed.</li> <li>Working closely with the client on site for ensuring timely and smooth waste removal.</li> </ul> Basic Requirements:  <ul> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">High School diploma or GED.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Strong customer service skills with the ability to address client needs promptly and professionally.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Ability to follow written and verbal safety instructions.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Ability to work as a team player.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Eagerness to learn and retain a basic knowledge of daily work practices.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship  </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must have a reliable form of transportation </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC) </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must be able to lift 60 pounds or more on a regular basis  </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">The Material Handler frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment.
