JICO Joint Interface Control Officer (5606) (TS/SCI) (Tampa, FL) at SMX

<p>SMX is seeking a<strong> JICO </strong><span data-teams="true">to plan, coordinate, and manage joint tactical data link operations and multi-TDL network integration. The role supports a reliable SOF - common tactical picture across joint and coalition command-and-control systems.</span></p> <p><strong>This is a full-time onsite position at MacDill AFB in SOCOM HQ.</strong></p> <p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-teams="true">Plan and manage multi-TDL architecture, information exchange requirements, and interface control procedures.</span></li> <li><span data-teams="true">Coordinate with joint, service, and coalition stakeholders to resolve interoperability and data-flow issues.</span></li> <li><span data-teams="true">Monitor tactical data link performance, troubleshoot interfaces, and support exercises and operational missions.</span></li> <li><span data-teams="true">Develop and maintain network plans, technical documentation, and operational briefings.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skills, Experience &amp; Education</strong></p> <ul> <li>Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain ACCM and/or Special Access Program (SAP) read-ins as required by the mission.</li> <li><span data-teams="true">Experience with JICO, interface control, or joint tactical data link operations.</span></li> <li><span data-teams="true">Working knowledge of Link 16, JREAP, joint data networks, and command-and-control systems.</span></li> <li><span data-teams="true">Ability to translate operational requirements into practical integration plans and work across technical and mission teams.</span></li> <li><span data-teams="true">Experience integrating ATAK, TRAX, or Cursor-on-Target (CoT) data flows is a plus.</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Application Deadline: November 9, 2026</p> <p>#CJPOST</p> <p>#LI-onsite</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>&nbsp;</p> <hr> <p><span style="font-size: 16px;">The SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications.
