This role requires strong automotive diagnostic and repair experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve difficult-to-duplicate vehicle issues. All work must be completed in accordance with approved repair procedures, safety requirements, and customer quality standards.   Essential Duties & Responsibilities <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li3">Inspect vehicles for reported squeaks, rattles, vibrations, wind noise, water leaks, and electrical concerns.</li> <li class="li3">Perform stationary and road test evaluations, when authorized, to verify and reproduce vehicle concerns.</li> <li class="li3">Diagnose and identify the root cause of NVH, electrical, and water intrusion issues.</li> <li class="li3">Repair squeaks and rattles involving:</li> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li3">Interior trim</li> <li class="li3">Instrument panels</li> <li class="li3">Seats</li> <li class="li3">Doors</li> <li class="li3">Center consoles</li> <li class="li3">Headliners</li> <li class="li3">Body panels</li> <li class="li3">Fasteners, clips, seals, and related components</li> </ul> <li class="li3">Perform approved corrective actions including adjustments, tightening, resealing, insulation, padding, and component replacement.</li> <li class="li3">Conduct water-leak testing using approved procedures and equipment.</li> <li class="li3">Inspect weatherstripping, seals, body seams, glass areas, doors, liftgates, and other potential water-entry points.</li> <li class="li3">Remove and reinstall interior and exterior vehicle components as necessary to access and repair affected areas.</li> <li class="li3">Verify completed repairs through functional testing, water testing, and NVH evaluations.</li> <li class="li3">Ensure repairs do not create additional damage, cosmetic defects, warning lights, or secondary vehicle concerns.</li> <li class="li3">Protect vehicle interiors, painted surfaces, glass, and customer property throughout the repair process.</li> <li class="li3">Accurately document inspection findings, root causes, repairs performed, materials used, and final verification results.</li> <li class="li3">Communicate recurring defects, quality concerns, and repair limitations to leadership and quality teams.</li> <li class="li3">Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and assigned work areas in a clean and organized condition.</li> <li class="li3">Follow all customer-specific procedures, repair instructions, quality requirements, and safety policies.</li> <li class="li3">Perform other related automotive repair and quality duties as assigned.</li> </ul>   Required Qualifications <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li3">High school diploma or GED required.</li> <li class="li3">Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive diagnostics, repair, trim, body repair, manufacturing, or dealership technician roles preferred.</li> <li class="li3">Experience diagnosing and repairing automotive squeaks, rattles, wind noise, and water leaks strongly preferred.</li> <li class="li3">Ability to remove and reinstall vehicle trim and components without causing damage.</li> <li class="li3">Working knowledge of:</li> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li3">Automotive fasteners and clips</li> <li class="li3">Weatherstripping and seals</li> <li class="li3">Adhesives and insulation materials</li> <li class="li3">Sound-deadening materials</li> </ul> <li class="li3">Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, water-testing equipment, and repair materials.</li> <li class="li3">Ability to read and follow work instructions, repair procedures, diagrams, quality standards, and technical documentation.</li> <li class="li3">Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.</li> <li class="li3">Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.</li> <li class="li3">Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li class="li3">Ability to accurately document findings and communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and customer representatives.</li> <li class="li3">Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record if vehicle operation or road testing is required.</li> <li class="li3">Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced automotive environment.</li> <li class="li3">Flexibility to work overtime and schedule adjustments as required.</li> </ul>   Preferred Qualifications <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li3">Experience working in an automotive OEM, assembly plant, dealership, prototype facility, or vehicle quality environment.</li> <li class="li3">Experience repairing luxury and/or electric vehicles.</li> <li class="li3">Familiarity with NVH diagnostic techniques and water-leak detection methods.</li> <li class="li3">Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or equivalent technical training.</li> <li class="li3">Experience using electronic inspection, repair order, or quality reporting systems.</li> <li class="li3">Knowledge of electric vehicle systems and high-voltage safety requirements.</li> </ul>   Physical Requirements <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li3">Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and work in confined vehicle spaces for extended periods.</li> <li class="li3">Ability to enter and exit vehicles repeatedly throughout the workday.</li> <li class="li3">Ability to lift and carry tools, parts, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.</li> <li class="li3">Ability to perform repetitive hand movements and safely operate hand and power tools.</li> <li class="li3">Ability to visually inspect vehicle surfaces, components, seals, and interior areas under varying lighting conditions.</li> <li class="li3">Ability to work in an automotive manufacturing, repair, or inspection environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and changing temperatures.</li> </ul>   Performance Expectations
