Our students thrive because they are challenged and known.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What is the Student Support Manager role?&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>As the Student Support Manager at Brooke East Boston, you work alongside the Principal of Brooke East Boston to build and sustain an exceptional K-8 school experience that provides all students with a rigorous education. You will bear responsibility for ensuring that all students are provided with the appropriate support and guidance needed to thrive, which includes managing services for students with disabilities, Multilingual Learners, and students who are not succeeding academically.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversee the identification of students across the school who are not thriving academically based on established criteria and working with the leadership team and teachers to develop effective support plans</li> <li>Directly manage student support staff including, IEP Team Chairs Related Service Providers</li> <li>Ensure that Brooke is in compliance with all special education and 504 requirements (in coordination with the Network Chief of Student Support)</li> <li>Assist in state compliance reviews</li> <li>Run professional development on all topics related to Student Success</li> </ul> <p><strong>Salary will range from $98K - $144,600 depending upon years of experience. Standard working hours are 7:00 AM–5:00 PM</strong><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Is This You?</strong></p> <ul> <li>You’ve earned a Bachelor’s degree and have a deep knowledge of special education requirements (special education license or degree required)&nbsp;</li> <li>After at least 3 years of working in the field of special education and a record of strong student results, you have a vision for instructional excellence and know the importance of building a classroom culture where students are held to high behavioral and academic expectations.</li> <li>You believe that great teaching is the leading indicator of student success and have an unwavering belief in your students’ capabilities.&nbsp;</li> <li>You are professional, warm, and collaborative with students, families, and colleagues.</li> <li>You are committed to uprooting racism through academics, equipping our students with tools to advocate for a diverse, equitable, and inclusive future.
