This role will maintain the general ledger and support the month-end close process, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis, while also supporting fixed assets, revenue recognition, and acquisition integration. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Accounting Supervisor and project and branch managers on forecasts, financial analysis, and financial models.  Triumvirate Environmental provides leading organizations in the higher education, life sciences, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing sectors with diverse services and expertise to assist them with compliance management. After 90 days, the position will follow a hybrid schedule approved by the manager and Human Resources.  Responsibilities:  <ul> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Maintain general ledger, prepare and input monthly journal entries, review and explain variances from budget and forecast.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Coordinate and manage the month-end close process through financial statement preparation and analysis.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Assist with Fixed Assets Depreciation, ROU under ASC842, prepaid schedules or Treasury depending on company needs.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Ensure compliance with revenue and expense recognition.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Assist in preparation of integrated financials from acquired entities, provide analysis and process assistance to acquired entities.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Ensure monthly WIP/accrual analysis and entry is complete.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Reconciliation and variance analysis of P&L and B/S accounts.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial accounting close process.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Work closely with the Accounting Supervisor in organizing and driving the core GL Team.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Perform monthly financial reviews of certain service areas to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial results.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Work with project/branch managers and understand financials and assist with preparation of forecasts and various financial models. </li> </ul> Basic Requirements:  <ul> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">4+ years of accounting experience utilizing various accounting methodologies and a background that shows a progression of increasing responsibilities.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Successful candidate will be deadline oriented, organized, possess strong time-management skills and have strong attention to detail.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Experience in the service and manufacturing industry preferred.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Experience with Oracle and/or comparable large-scale ERP systems preferred.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Strong Microsoft Excel skills, and proven ability to analyze large data sets required.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Experience in acquisition integration a plus. </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must have a reliable form of transportation </li> </ul> #LI-Hybrid  #LI-CD1 Besides Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, we contribute to a 401k, offer a generous tuition reimbursement program, TONS of safety training for some positions with opportunities for external trainings and certifications, Mentorship & Career Succession Planning, Relocation Opportunities, Auto/Home insurance discounts, pet assistance discount plans, discounted movie passes & more!    To learn more about our business, culture, and the exciting work that we are doing in the industry, find us on <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/triumvirate-environmental/posts/?feedView=all">LinkedIn, </a>Instagram (@triumvirateenvironmental), or our <a href="https://www.triumvirate.com/">website</a>!   Triumvirate Environmental is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
