The successful candidate will work alongside our Silicon Valley teaching team while also focusing on the operational aspects of our business. You will have the resources to become a great math educator and provide world-class teaching services to PreK-9th graders of all levels. In order to foster a well-rounded leader in the education industry, this role will also give you the chance to participate in Think Academy's business functions including operations and marketing. With the right mindset, this position will strengthen your teaching abilities and leadership competency and be a stepping stone to your goals in the education industry.  <div class="ql-divide ql-long-3664852 ql-authorBlock-3664852 ql-embed-selected"><hr></div> Job Responsibilities: 1.) Instruction & Classroom Delivery <ul> <li class="">Teach engaging, in-person classes for elementary level mathematics (Grades 6-8) </li> <li class="">Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment and implement teaching methods with mentor support</li> <li class="">Develop tailored mathematical learning plans for students based on their current abilities and goals, facilitating their enrollment in short-term or long-term courses</li> </ul> <div class="ql-direction-ltr ql-long-3664852" data-header="3" data-foldable="true" data-default-linespacing="100">2) Student Progress & Learning Support</div> <ul> <li class="">Monitor learning, provide individualized support, grade homework, and complete related teaching tasks</li> <li class="">Develop personalized learning plans and recommend appropriate course pathways (short- or long-term)</li> </ul> <div class="ql-direction-ltr ql-long-3664852" data-header="3" data-foldable="true">3) Family Communication & Partnership</div> <ul> <li class="">Communicate proactively with parents/guardians, conduct conferences/meetings, and build supportive relationships with families</li> <li class="">Build fulfilling and supportive relationships with students and their families</li> </ul> Schedule: <ul> <li class="">Tuesday–Sunday, 40 hours/week total.
