Specific eligibility and coverage details will be provided during the hiring process**</em></p></div><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p> <p>Integrated Fire &amp; Security Solutions is seeking a skilled <strong>Fire Alarm &amp; Security Installation Technician</strong> to join our team in Fort Myers, FL. This role involves the installation of fire alarm systems while ensuring compliance with industry codes and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire alarm &amp; low-voltage systems, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Interpret blueprints and update as-built documentation as needed.</li> <li>Verify that all necessary equipment and materials are available and properly staged for installation.</li> <li>Identify and address field modifications or potential scope gaps to maintain project integrity.</li> <li>Ensure all installations comply with current National Electrical Code (NEC) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)</li> <li>Conduct on-site inspections to review installation quality and ensure adherence to project specifications.</li> <li>Stay up to date with industry advancements by attending seminars and training sessions on emerging technologies and best practices.</li> <li>Maintain clear and professional communication with internal teams, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>3-4 years of experience in the low-voltage industry, with demonstrated proficiency fire alarm systems.</li> <li>High School Diploma or GED</li> <li>Strong knowledge of fire alarm and security system codes and standards.</li> <li>Excellent time management and organizational skills.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a field-based environment.</li> <li>Valid Florida Fire Alarm License (FASA/BASA certification) or ability to obtain it.</li> <li>Knowledge of local and state regulations governing fire alarm and security systems.</li> <li>Understanding of NEC and NFPA current requirements</li> <li>Proficient in technology tools and systems</li> <li>Ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements, including holding a valid driver’s license and maintaining an acceptable motor vehicle record.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>BS or Technical School Certification</li> <li>NICET Certification</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p style="line-height: 1;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><em>This role may require extended periods of sitting or standing, movement around the office or job site, and operation of standard equipment.
