Inventory Coordinator at Nature's Bakery

<p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p> <p>The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records within the manufacturing warehouse through strong inventory control practices, cycle counting, auditing, and SAP transaction management. This role plays a critical part in ensuring material accuracy, supporting production needs, and minimizing inventory discrepancies.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>Inventory Control &amp; Accuracy</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, packaging, WIP, and finished goods</li> <li>Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts; investigate and resolve variances</li> <li>Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions</li> <li>Ensure inventory movements are properly executed and documented</li> </ul> <p><strong>SAP &amp; System Transactions</strong></p> <ul> <li>Execute all inventory-related transactions in SAP (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments)</li> <li>Ensure SAP data accuracy aligns with physical inventory</li> <li>Support inventory reconciliations between SAP and physical counts</li> <li>Partner with IT, Finance, and Supply Chain on SAP-related inventory improvements</li> </ul> <p><strong>Auditing &amp; Compliance</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support internal and external inventory audits</li> <li>Ensure compliance with company inventory control policies and SOX requirements (if applicable)</li> <li>Maintain audit-ready documentation and transaction accuracy</li> </ul> <p><strong>Warehouse &amp; Cross-Functional Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work closely with Warehouse, Production, Procurement, and QA teams to ensure material availability</li> <li>Support process improvements related to inventory flow, storage, and accuracy</li> <li>Train warehouse team members on proper inventory handling and SAP transaction best practices</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p><strong>Required</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment</li> <li>Strong hands-on experience using SAP (inventory management, material movements)</li> <li>Proven experience with cycle counting and inventory auditing</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in food manufacturing or regulated environments</li> <li>Understanding of FIFO/FEFO inventory practices</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The Good Stuff – Benefits</strong><br>Our team members' physical and mental health is important to a thriving workplace.
