<div class="content-intro"><p><img src="https://caddell.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Build-your-career.png" alt="" width="822" style="max-width: 100%;"></p> <p>&nbsp;</p></div><p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Job Title –&nbsp;</strong>Estimator II</p> <p><strong>Location –&nbsp;</strong>Montgomery, AL, on-site</p> <p><strong>Resumes will be reviewed continually.</strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Arial Black',sans-serif; color: #004d71;">Rewards of Working at Caddell - Paid vacations, company-paid holidays, company-funded medical insurance.&nbsp; Company joint funding of dental and vision insurance, life and disability plans to full-time employees, 401k match, gym membership reimbursement, and use of company condominiums.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 18.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: #691c32;">What You Will Do</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Reads and interprets contract documents relating to the assigned major divisions.</li> <li>Prepares accurate quantity surveys and pricing summaries.</li> <li>Reviews estimate/sub quote files to gain information for current bids.</li> <li>Solicits subcontractor/vendor pricing information.</li> <li>Prepares spreadsheets and coordinates with estimating bid team members for bid day.</li> <li>Logs and files bid documentation after bid day for estimate/sub quote file.</li> <li>Attends pre-bid conferences and site visits.</li> <li>Negotiates and writes subcontracts and purchase agreements.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> <li><strong>Working Conditions</strong>&nbsp;– Full time, Office setting, Occasional travel required</li> <li><strong>Reporting Structure –</strong>&nbsp;Chief Estimator, Senior Estimator</li> </ul> <p class="MsoNormal" style=" line-height: normal;"><strong><span style="font-size: 18.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: #691c32; ">What We Expect</span></strong></p> <p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities –</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong>Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook.&nbsp; Experienced with estimating software.&nbsp; Strong written and verbal communication skills. Prioritizes conflicts in managing multiple tasks on assignments simultaneously.&nbsp; Ability to train and mentor Estimator and Estimator I employees.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Education / Experience -</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum high school diploma/GED and seven years of construction-related experience required.</li> <li>Four-year degree in related field and six to seven years of construction- related experience preferred.&nbsp;</li> <li>Current clearance, or the ability to obtain a Department of Defense minimum secret security clearance required.</li> </ul> <p>While the salary range is typically between $69,875 - $93,200 annually, applicants are encouraged to share compensation expectations as part of the application process.
