What You Will Do <ul> <li class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;">Assist the Project Safety Manager to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for employees in a variety of construction settings. </li> <li><a>Works closely with </a>the Caddell project team and trade partners to proactively identify, evaluate, and eliminate safety hazards in the workplace</li> <li>Participate in the creation and implementation of safety programs, assist with safety training, and conduct safety observations and inspections.</li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="color: #0d0d0d; line-height: 18.75pt;">Support safety culture to ensure compliance with Caddell safety program, client requirements, and federal, state, and local regulations.</li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="color: #0d0d0d; line-height: 18.75pt;">Collaborate with trade partners, OFCI vendors, and visitors through the inspection process of the safety documentation, permits, and equipment inspections, to identify potential safety hazards and educate ways to implement controls to prevent potential incidents. </li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="color: #0d0d0d; line-height: 18.75pt;">Work with project team to provide safety training to Caddell Staff and trade partners on a regular basis.</li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="color: #0d0d0d; line-height: 18.75pt;">Assists in the investigation of accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop corrective action plans.</li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="color: #0d0d0d; line-height: 18.75pt;">Monitor safety performance in the workplace and provide feedback to project management.</li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="color: #0d0d0d; line-height: 18.75pt;">Maintaining safety records and documentation.</li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="color: #0d0d0d; line-height: 18.75pt;">Conduct new worker orientation and onboarding.</li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="color: #0d0d0d; line-height: 18.75pt;">Attend safety and planning meetings to advantageously promote a safe workplace.</li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="color: black; line-height: normal;">Working Conditions – Construction setting, travel required, full time. Must have the ability to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for longs periods of time, lift and hold in excess of 50lbs, talk, hear and occasionally sit. Must have the ability to withstand confined spaces and or/extreme heights while negotiating tasks at hand in a safe manner to themselves and/or others. Certifications, Licenses, etc.: <ul> <li>Effective written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Excellent organization skills.</li> <li>Working knowledge of applicable OSHA regulations.  </li> <li> Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint</li> <li>Professional certifications such as STSC, GSP, etc. are preferred. </li> </ul> ·         Certifications: OSHA 30-hour, First Aid/CPR, Competent Persons Training. Education / Experience – <a>Prefer Bachelor’s </a>degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
