About the Role

Lasko Products, a market leader in home environment products for over 100 years, is seeking a Corporate Cost Analyst to join our Finance team at our West Chester, PA headquarters. This role is ideal for an early-career professional (0–3 years of experience) with a strong accounting foundation and hands-on cost accounting or standard costing experience—particularly in a buy-model environment where products are sourced from external manufacturing partners. The Corporate Cost Analyst will play a key role in analyzing product costs, validating standard costs, and supporting financial decision-making across the business. This position offers exposure to Supply Chain, Operations, and Business Unit teams, and is a great opportunity for someone eager to expand their expertise while potentially pursuing an MBA or advanced degree. Key Responsibilities <ul> <li>Support the development, maintenance, and analysis of standard costs for sourced and manufactured products.</li> <li>Evaluate material, labor, freight, duty, and overhead components to ensure accurate product costing.</li> <li>Assist in periodic cost roll-ups, cost updates, and BOM/recipe review processes.</li> <li>Partner with Supply Chain, Sourcing, Operations, and Business Units to understand cost drivers and validate cost changes.</li> <li>Analyze cost variances and identify trends or root causes affecting product margins.</li> <li>Support new product development costing, including scenario modeling and cost impact analysis.</li> <li>Lead inventory oversight and analysis of monthly balances and application of internal controls and reporting surrounding the topic of inventory.</li> <li>Provide insights and recommendations to leadership regarding cost changes, profitability, and operational efficiencies.</li> <li>Help refine costing processes, systems, and documentation to enhance accuracy and consistency.</li> </ul> Skills & Attributes <ul> <li>Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with high attention to detail.</li> <li>Solid understanding of cost accounting concepts, including standard costing and inventory valuation.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li> <li>Proactive, curious, and comfortable working with large data sets.</li> <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate with high professionalism and integrity.</li> </ul> Experience & Qualifications <ul> <li>0–3 years of experience in cost accounting, standard costing, or financial analysis.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Finance degree with strong accounting coursework considered.</li> <li>Experience costing sourced products in a buy-model or imported goods environment strongly preferred.</li> <li>Manufacturing, consumer products, or supply chain-related experience is a plus.</li> <li>Pursuit of an MBA or advanced degree is desirable but not required.</li> <li>Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems and BI/reporting tools preferred.</li> </ul>  <div class="content-conclusion">About Lasko Products  Better Air Starts Here.  Lasko Products is the leading air solutions brand with a reputation for reliable products, peak performance, and perpetual innovation – our commitment to our customers for over a century.
