About the Role

Lasko Products, an industry leader of home environment products for over 100 years, is seeking a Cost Analyst. This role is based in our Franklin, TN manufacturing facility.  Key areas of responsibility will include: <ul> <li>Teaming:</li> <ul> <li>Must be collaborative and work with Plant and Department Managers</li> <li>Miscellaneous ad-hoc reporting as requested from all finance leadership</li> </ul> <li>Plant Strategy:</li> <ul> <li>Calculate daily CPUs and efficiency reports to help drive improvements in key cost and production areas</li> <li>Develop weekly trending variance analysis, to see performance versus standard</li> <li>Work with engineering to develop easy-to-read daily plant dashboard, that covers all areas including cost, production, shipping, efficiency, and safety</li> </ul> <li>Forecasting and Budgeting:</li> <ul> <li>Lead yearly AOP and periodic forecast updates for all labor and overhead expenses in the plant</li> <li>Collaborate with department managers to develop budgets around headcount, supplies, maintenance and more</li> <li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and general plant performance reports, with comparative view to AOP and forecasts</li> </ul> <li>Cost Accounting and Reporting:</li> <ul> <li>Lead yearly Standard Cost Roll for all manufactured items in Franklin, TN by updating BOMs and routings with alignment to yearly AOP</li> <li>Maintain accurate, fully costed BOMs for all WIP and FG inventory throughout the year</li> </ul> <li>Month End:</li> <ul> <li>Prepare monthly JE’s in a timely manner</li> <li>Analyze month end results with comparative view to AOP and forecasts and explain variances</li> <li>Prepare account reconciliations for plant related accrual accounts</li> </ul> <li>Inventory:</li> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate perpetual inventory balances for all Tennessee locations, including main plant, warehouse, and any outside warehouse as applicable.</li> <li>Plan, coordinate, and conduct annual physical inventory for Tennessee facilities.</li> </ul> <li>Develop, improve and implement process and controls for:</li> <ul> <li>All areas above</li> <li>Regular cycle counts in the manufacturing facility</li> </ul> </ul> EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications needed in addition to the topics above: <ul> <li>4+ years of finance/accounting experience, with at least 1 in manufacturing</li> <li>Must have a proactive and solid follow up approach</li> <li>Experience documenting process and controls</li> <li>Strong MS Office skills</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance</li> <li>Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Consumer Products manufacturing (preferred)</li> <li>ERP experience- QAD preferred </li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion">About Lasko Products  Better Air Starts Here.  Lasko Products is the leading air solutions brand with a reputation for reliable products, peak performance, and perpetual innovation – our commitment to our customers for over a century.
