Responsibilities include implementation, testing and startup of technical solutions created by yourself or others.  You will work closely with cross-functional teams, integrating industrial systems, and ensuring high-performance, scalable, and secure automation applications.   You will:  <ul> <li>Design, develop, and implement Ignition-based SCADA and IIoT solutions for industrial automation projects.</li> <li>Be the technical lead for Ignition architecture, including Gateway configuration, Perspective, Vision, and SQL databases.</li> <li>Design and configure PLC/SCADA networks.  Specify and configure various hardware components such as instrumentation, PLCs, communication systems and industrial control panels.</li> <li>Hands-on experience in IT OT integration projects.</li> <li>Actively manage client stakeholder communication, and internal project management activities as per E Tech Group standard practices</li> <li>Create tools, methods and approaches to increase engineering efficiency</li> <li>Assist Business development team to evaluate and promote opportunities with predesigns, estimates, and in person presentations.</li> <li>Consulting / Advisory experience in Industrial Automation projects based on Inductive Automation platform is preferred</li> <li>Mentor and train engineers, providing technical guidance and Ignition best practices.</li> <li>Be an ambassador who embodies our <a id="menur13re" class="fui-Link ___1q1shib f2hkw1w f3rmtva f1ewtqcl fyind8e f1k6fduh f1w7gpdv fk6fouc fjoy568 figsok6 f1s184ao f1mk8lai fnbmjn9 f1o700av f13mvf36 f1cmlufx f9n3di6 f1ids18y f1tx3yz7 f1deo86v f1eh06m1 f1iescvh fhgqx19 f1olyrje f1p93eir f1nev41a f1h8hb77 f1lqvz6u f10aw75t fsle3fq f17ae5zn" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNgpHEJiRb0" target="_blank">Core Values</a>, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates. </li> </ul>   You have:  <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.</li> <li>10+ years of experience in the control system industry. </li> <li>5+ years of hands-on experience with Inductive Automation Ignition (Perspective, Vision, SQL, Tag Historian, Scripting).</li> <li>Extensive knowledge of advanced Ignition concepts, including system architecture, scripting, and integration best practices.</li> <li>Strong development skills in Jython, SQL, and JavaScript for building robust and scalable solutions.</li> <li>Familiarity with UI/UX principles to design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.</li> <li>Strong understanding of controls systems.</li> <li>Ability to develop PLC and HMI programs within one or more languages</li> <li>Experience commissioning in “live” environments.  </li> <li>A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork. </li> </ul>
