The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Tech is to assist in all phases of Maintenance, Transportation &amp; Groundskeeping tasks throughout the Otterbein Campus.&nbsp; This includes completing assigned jobs related to painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, moving, mechanical and other general repairs.&nbsp; This also includes assisting with scheduled transportation.&nbsp; This is a full time position, primarily Monday-Friday, with rotating emergency on-call.&nbsp;</p> </div> </div> </div> <h2 class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoField_Job">Responsibilities</h2> <div class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoMsg_Job"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Container"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Text"> <ul> <li>Maintains a comfortable, safe and secure environment for the residents, their families, visitors and partners.</li> <li>Performs a variety of general maintenance tasks, including general repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.</li> <li>Assists with moving of residents’ furnishings as needed.</li> <li>Paints&nbsp;residents' living quarters as needed.</li> <li>Assists with the&nbsp;on-going preventative maintenance program of cleaning, repairing and operating equipment, which minimizes abnormal equipment failure.</li> <li>Assists with&nbsp;groundskeeping, weeding, mulching, and snow-removal.</li> <li>Assists with maintaining documentation of fire safety evacuation plan, fire drills, disaster plan, smoking policy, fire alarm testing,&nbsp;fire extinguisher maintenance and testing reports, generator testing logs, water temperatures, flame spread ratings of interior finishes, and other maintenance records.</li> <li>Assists with transportation tasks as needed.</li> <li>Performs any other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <h2 class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoField_Job">Qualifications</h2> </div> </div> </div> <ul> <li><strong>Education</strong>: High School Diploma or equivalent is required</li> <li><strong>Licensure/Certification</strong>:&nbsp; Holds a valid Ohio driver’s license</li> <li><strong>Experience: </strong>General Maintenance - Electrical, Plumbing and Carpentry Experience, Mechanical Experience on H.V.A.C., Mowers and Vehicles.</li> </ul> <div class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoMsg_Job"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Container"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Text"> <p>Apply today and begin a meaningful career as an <strong>Maintenance Tech</strong>&nbsp;at Otterbein!</p> </div> </div> </div>
