<h1>Role Overview</h1> <p>The Senior Technical Project Manager (STPM) leads complex, cross-functional enterprise initiatives while contributing to the design, implementation, and maturation of PMO systems, processes, and methodologies. This role combines hands-on delivery leadership with PMO enablement to ensure consistent execution, transparency, and alignment across a global IT portfolio. The STPM serves as a senior delivery lead and trusted partner to IT leadership, business stakeholders, architects, and external vendors, bringing structure, rigor, and repeatability to enterprise change initiatives.</p> <h1>Key Responsibilities</h1> <h2>Enterprise Application Delivery</h2> <ul> <li>Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise platforms and shared services including ERP, ITSM/ESM, HRIS, Finance, Identity, Integration, Analytics, and Contact Center solutions.</li> <li>Translate business initiatives into structured programs and projects with clearly defined scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and success metrics.</li> <li>Coordinate delivery across application, integration, data, infrastructure, security, and business process workstreams.</li> <li>Own planning and execution across all delivery phases from discovery through transition to operations.</li> </ul> <h2>PMO Systems, Processes, and Methodologies</h2> <ul> <li>Design, standardize, and operationalize PMO practices including intake, prioritization, lifecycle governance, RAID, and executive reporting.</li> <li>Lead or contribute to implementation and enhancement of PMO tooling such as ServiceNow SPM/ITBM or equivalent platforms.</li> <li>Develop reusable templates, playbooks, and operating rhythms to improve delivery consistency.</li> <li>Drive adoption of PMO methodologies and partner with leadership to improve delivery maturity.</li> </ul> <h2>Governance, Risk, and Stakeholder Management</h2> <ul> <li>Establish and run governance structures including steering committees and working groups.</li> <li>Proactively identify and manage delivery, technical, financial, and organizational risks.</li> <li>Serve as escalation point for delivery issues and decision facilitation.</li> </ul> <h2>Executive Communication and Transparency</h2> <ul> <li>Produce executive-ready status reporting focused on outcomes, financials, risks, and decisions.</li> <li>Translate complex technical topics into clear business language.</li> <li>Maintain alignment across global teams and delivery partners.</li> </ul> <h1>Qualifications and Experience</h1> <ul> <li>8–12+ years delivering enterprise-scale IT initiatives across ERP, ITSM/ESM, HR, Finance, Identity, and Integration platforms.</li> <li>Experience managing multi-workstream programs with internal teams and system integrators.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with platform implementations, upgrades, consolidations, or global rollouts.</li> <li>Direct experience building or maturing PMO functions and operating models.</li> <li>Experience with PPM/PMO tools such as ServiceNow SPM/ITBM, Planview, Clarity, Jira Align, Wrike, or Smartsheet.</li> </ul> <h1>Success Measures (First 6–12 Months)</h1> <ul> <li>Improved predictability and transparency across enterprise initiatives.</li> <li>Active adoption of PMO artifacts and reporting.</li> <li>Clearer decision paths and reduced delivery surprises.</li> <li>Delivery teams benefit from structure without unnecessary bureaucracy.</li> </ul> <p>Range: $120k - $140k</p>
