The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator, working cross-functionally with sales, account management, product and data science teams to develop a cohesive pricing solution for our shippers. We’re looking for a passionate analytical mindset who can draw insights from a wealth of market and historical data, and translate these insights into actionable plans, and own our pricing strategy for our shippers.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What the Candidate Will Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide data-driven pricing proposals to internal stakeholders based on account profitability goals, industry trends and competitive landscape.<br><br></li> <li>Demonstrate the ability to provide analytical insights and partner with appropriate stakeholders to pursue growth opportunities and address areas of improvement.</li> <li>Develop executive-level presentations that gain alignment on pricing analysis and display strategic rationale behind potential financial impact.</li> <li>Deliver customized pricing strategies to shippers during negotiation processes.</li> <li>Perform ongoing assessment of financial impact of pricing forecast versus the actual results.</li> <li>Provide insights to the business through analysis of competitive pricing, packaging or bundling strategies and customer buying patterns.</li> <li>Develop, maintain and ensure accuracy of pricing data inventory used for analysis and contract execution.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in business/economics/stats/mathematics/related field or equivalent experience&nbsp;</li> <li>Exceptional Excel (or Google Sheets) and Data Management Skills</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication</li> <li>Minimum 2 years of pricing, analytics, consulting, data science, business intelligence, Supply Chain or related experience</li> <li>Experience working closely and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>SQL expertise&nbsp;</li> <li>Supply Chain or 3PL /&nbsp; 4PL experience</li> <li>Exceptional critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to quickly root cause issues</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits &amp; Compensation for U.S. Employees</strong></p> <p><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Employees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.&nbsp; US based employees may also be eligible for a performance or sales incentive bonus program, participation in Uber Freight equity awards, and other types of compensation depending upon the role.</span></p> <p><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody"><strong>Illinois: </strong>The target salary for the position is between $75,000-90,000</span></p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto"><span data-ccp-parastyle="heading 3">About Uber Freight</span></span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{&quot;134245418&quot;:true,&quot;134245529&quot;:true,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559738&quot;:160,&quot;335559739&quot;:80,&quot;335559740&quot;:278}">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Uber Freight helps companies move goods more reliably and efficiently.
