If you’re looking for a place where you can innovate, solve complex problems, and build solutions that make a measurable impact, join us. <h2>About the Role</h2> We are seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong technical accounting foundation to join our Finance & Accounting team. This role owns complex accounting research and application, supports external financial reporting, and serves as a key point of contact for reporting to our private equity sponsor and other institutional investors. You'll work closely with the Controller, FP&A, and external auditors to ensure accurate, timely, and well-supported financial reporting as the company scales. <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Research, interpret, and document the accounting treatment for complex and non-routine transactions (revenue recognition, leases, debt/equity instruments, business combinations, impairment, stock-based compensation) under US GAAP.</li> <li>Draft technical accounting memos and position papers, and present conclusions to management and external auditors.</li> <li>Prepare and review external financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP; support quarterly and annual audit processes.</li> <li>Own or support monthly/quarterly reporting packages for private equity sponsor and investor stakeholders, including financial statements, KPIs, covenant compliance schedules, and variance commentary.</li> <li>Partner with FP&A and the deal/portfolio team to respond to ad hoc investor data requests and board reporting needs.</li> <li>Monitor emerging accounting standards (ASU/ASC updates) and assess and document their impact on the company's financial statements.</li> <li>Assist with technical accounting aspects of M&A activity, including purchase accounting and integration of acquired entities.</li> <li>Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and process documentation to support a scalable, audit-ready close process.</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Tax, and Treasury on transactions with accounting implications.</li> <li>Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to process improvement initiatives within the close and reporting cycle.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Active CPA designation is required.</li> <li>4–7 years of progressive accounting experience, Including public accounting (Big 4 or large regional firm) and a technical accounting role in industry.</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, including revenue recognition (ASC 606), leases (ASC 842), and business combinations (ASC 805).</li> <li>Experience preparing or supporting external financial statements and audit deliverables.</li> <li>Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, well-supported technical memos.</li> <li>Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (Dynamics BC) preferred.</li> <li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, private-equity-owned environment.</li> <li>Prior experience in a PE-backed company or preparing reporting packages for private equity/institutional investors, strongly preferred.</li> <li>Familiarity with covenant compliance reporting, credit agreement requirements, and sponsor reporting timelines is a plus.</li> </ul> <h2>What Success Looks Like in the First Year</h2> <ul> <li>Technical accounting memos are complete, well-researched, and require minimal auditor follow-up.</li> <li>Sponsor/investor reporting packages are delivered accurately and on schedule each month/quarter.</li> <li>Trusted as a go-to resource for new or complex transactions requiring GAAP research.</li> <li>Contributes to a smoother, faster close and audit process through improved documentation and controls.</li> </ul> About Quisitive With significant growth since 2016, Quisitive is rapidly progressing our vision of becoming the leading global Microsoft partner as we continue to expand across the United States, Canada and India.
