About the Role

<hr> Overview <hr> *Candidates must be located in or near Chandler, Arizona with the willingness to work on-site 5 days a week* As a Sr Configuration Center Technician, you will be responsible for working on multi-customer, multivendor configuration projects as an individual or part of a team. This is a technician role in a light industrial I.T. warehouse environment. The position is responsible for the preparation, setup, configuration, testing, consolidation, and packaging of customer equipment required for both major configuration rollouts and small scope maintenance work. The Sr Configuration Center Technician works to ensure configuration projects are delivered on-time, within budget and at 100% accuracy. The position will be involved in data entry for status and reporting information. This position may work closely with the Project Management Team(s) and Warehouse Team to ensure project goals are met <hr> Your Impact <hr> The essential functions of this position include: Configuration Project Management <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Follow detailed specifications for the setup, configuration and testing of customer equipment</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Set up a variety of equipment types for configuration and testing (including PCs, peripheral equipment, servers and network equipment)</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Configure customer equipment as appropriate to projects</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Complete customer configuration check-off lists to ensure 100% accuracy of configured devices and shipments</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Track and record inventory required for projects</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Prepare configured equipment for shipment</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Data management involving configuration status, schedules and project deliverables</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Assist as needed with the daily maintenance, clean-up and organization of the Configuration Lab including lifting and packaging of boxes</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Limited Field Technician support may be required for installation, training, scope definition, or as back up for the project team resources. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
