Follows standard quality practices and procedures.&nbsp; Uses water pressure equipment, air hose, weld gauges, adjustable measuring instruments, computer scanning devices, flashlight and inspection mirror.</li> <li>Consults with ASME Authorized Inspector when there are discrepancies. Coordinates hydro testing priorities with ASME Authorized Inspector.</li> <li>Ensures that all vessels are pressurized to 1 1/3 times the M.A.W.P. Observes all welds for undercut, under flush, excessive deposits, proper blends, excess spatter, cracks and leaks.</li> <li>Initials all acceptable products indicating that all proper quality requirements have been met. Highlights all discrepancies with bold markings and notifies the appropriate supervisor that a repair or rework is required.</li> <li>Maintains record of defective units, indicating the type of defect by completing form QF-063.</li> <li>Maintains record of all necessary records. Moves material as necessary in the performance of the job.</li> <li>Detects and reports improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to proper supervision.</li> <li>Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition.
