<p>As an Senior Embedded Software Engineer in the Radio Systems team you will work on the communications and RF sensing technologies which bring reliable communications, and valuable RF insights to manned and unmanned systems. Your expertise with timing critical and resource constrained embedded systems development will help to create the RF technology framework spanning and enabling many different RF systems. You will collaborate with developers across Auterions full technology stack to successfully bring our RF technologies and insights to the air, the ground, and the sea. You will work closely with OEMs and end users from government, military and enterprise agencies around the world to develop and deliver tactical solutions for RF operation in modern, evolving operational environments.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities and Duties</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Own a complex multi-processor, multi-domain RF sampling software stack</li>
<li>Work with RF experts to configure and evolve agile RF baseband configurations</li>
<li>Collaborate with engineers to create RF framework APIs for full-stack consumption of data</li>
<li>Develop and maintain custom L1/L2 network communication layers within the radio framework</li>
<li>Support OEM integrations and end customers directly, sometimes on-site</li>
<li>Work with engineers to direct development of test infrastructure / QA processes</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications and Skills</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>3+ years of experience in relevant software and engineering roles</li>
<li>B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering / Science or related fields</li>
<li>Experience delivering complex mixed-signal systems on significant government or enterprise programs</li>
<li>Proficient in C/C++ development on RT ARM and Linux platforms and Python</li>
<li>Deep understanding of wireless networking systems, e.g. LoRa / 802.11 is a plus</li>
<li>Ability to handle and assemble electrical hardware prototypes</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills to keep a global team fully informed</li>
<li>Willingness for infrequent travel</li>
<li>Bonus: you love radio technologies, tinker with radios and want to learn more about RF engineering</li>
<li>CH/EU citizenship required </li>
