<p><strong>Overview</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechatronics / Robotics Technician to join our team full-time. This role goes beyond assembly — the ideal candidate will not only build drones and related systems but also design and implement test benches, onboard modules, and prototypes to support development, testing, and production. This is a hands-on position that combines electronics, mechanical assembly, and problem-solving, making it ideal for someone with a passion for drones, robotics, or related technologies.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities and Duties</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Assemble drones and subsystems (mechanical, electrical, and electronic) based on schematics, drawings, and specifications.</li>
<li>Perform precise soldering, wiring, and component integration.</li>
<li>Integrate sensors, flight controllers, and peripheral modules.</li>
<li>Design and build custom test benches, fixtures, and rigs for validating drone software, components and systems.</li>
<li>Design and implement automated processes and test rigs for continuous integration tests. </li>
<li>Perform functional and stress testing on drones, modules, and electronics.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with electrical, mechanical, or software-related systems.</li>
<li>Assist with the design and fabrication of new modules, models, and prototypes.</li>
<li>Utilize 3D printing, machining, and basic CAD tools for rapid prototyping.</li>
<li>Collaborate with engineers to refine designs and suggest improvements.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during assembly and testing.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate logs of assembly processes, test results, and component performance.</li>
<li>Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, documentation, and workflows.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications and Skills</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Hands-on experience in electronics, robotics, or mechanical assembly. Experience with drones, RC aircraft is a plus (professional or hobbyist).</li>
<li>Proficiency in soldering, wiring, crimping, and electrical troubleshooting.</li>
<li>Experience with CAD software (e.g., Onshape, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar) and 3D printing techniques.</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.</li>
<li>Knowledge of embedded systems, sensors, and flight controllers is a plus.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.</li>
<li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.</li>
<li>DE/EU Citizenship is a must have.</li>
