In Lucid Air and Lucid Gravity, we have designed and built vehicles that have redefined their segments, combining exceptional range, performance, design, and expansive space in a single experience.  We achieve this through deep vertical integration, with design, engineering, and production happening in-house across our global offices and manufacturing facilities. Our teams come from industries around the world, united by a shared commitment to excellence. By refusing to settle, you can help redefine what’s possible and shape the future of mobility.</div><div> The Audio Tuning, Testing & Benchmarking team develops and validates the complete vehicle audio experience across Lucid programs, including media playback, telephony, Pedestrian Warning Systems (PWS), factory acoustic diagnostics, DSP software integration and competitive benchmarking.  The team works at the intersection of acoustics, psychoacoustics, signal processing, software development, and vehicle validation to deliver industry-leading customer experiences throughout the vehicle lifecycle.  Role: Lucid is seeking a senior acoustic engineer with deep expertise in acoustics, psychoacoustics, digital signal processing, and vehicle audio systems.  This role bridges acoustic science with practical implementation, translating measurement data, vehicle behavior, and customer feedback into production-ready audio solutions. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across telephony, DSP architecture, factory acoustic diagnostics, and real-world vehicle validation.  The position requires strong experimental skills, the ability to diagnose complex multidisciplinary issues, and the technical judgment to guide decisions when requirements, system behavior, or available data are incomplete.     Qualifications: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Acoustics, Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline. </li> <li>Strong foundation in acoustics, psychoacoustics, and digital signal processing. </li> <li>Experience developing, tuning, and validating audio systems. </li> <li>Experience designing experiments and interpreting acoustic measurement data. </li> <li>Ability to diagnose complex technical issues across software, hardware, and system boundaries. </li> <li>Strong communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills. </li> </ul> Preferred: <ul> <li>M.S. or Ph.D. in Acoustics, Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. </li> <li>Experience with automotive audio systems. </li> <li>Experience with AudioWeaver or similar DSP development environments. </li> <li>Experience with telephony technologies including Acoustic Echo Cancellation, Noise Reduction, beamforming, and microphone processing. </li> <li>Experience with acoustic measurement systems and laboratory instrumentation. </li> <li>Experience developing production diagnostics or manufacturing test methodologies. </li> <li>Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers. </li> </ul> Work Environment  This role requires hands-on work with vehicles, lab equipment, and development hardware.
