IT Associate I at Uber Freight

<h2><strong>About the Role</strong></h2> <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and service-oriented <strong>IT Associate I</strong> to join our End User Computing team. This is an entry-level, on-site role focused on providing hands-on technical support, device provisioning, and day-to-day IT operations for internal users.</p> <h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.</li> <li><strong>User Support:</strong> Assist users with daily tasks and common issues in <strong>Google Workspace</strong> (sharing permissions, Drive organization, and Gmail settings).</li> <li><strong>Provisioning:</strong> Prepare, configure, and deploy laptops and peripherals.</li> <li><strong>Lifecycle Management:</strong> Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including account creation and deactivation.</li> <li><strong>Migration Support:</strong> Help users transition from Microsoft environments to Google Workspace tools.</li> <li><strong>Ticketing:</strong> Manage and resolve tickets within defined SLAs using the ITSM system.</li> <li><strong>Inventory:</strong> Maintain asset inventory and equipment tracking.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).</li> <li><strong>Google Workspace Knowledge:</strong> Solid understanding of how Google Drive, Docs, Gmail, and Calendar work from a support perspective (basic permissions and troubleshooting).</li> <li><strong>Hybrid Environment:</strong> Basic familiarity with Windows/O365 to assist in the migration process.</li> <li><strong>Language:</strong> Basic to intermediate English proficiency.</li> <li><strong>Soft Skills:</strong> Strong analytical skills and a "customer-first" communication style.</li> <li><strong>Availability:</strong> Ability to work <strong>on-site full-time</strong>.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Nice to Have&nbsp;</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Experience with <strong>Jira Service Management (JSM)</strong>.</li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>JumpCloud</strong> or other identity providers.</li> <li>Basic exposure to <strong>Google Admin Console</strong> (resetting passwords, basic group management).</li> <li>Previous help desk or internship experience</li> </ul> <p></p> <h2><strong>About Uber Freight</strong></h2> <p></p> <p>Uber Freight is a logistics platform and partner with a mission to reimagine the way goods move to help communities thrive.
