<p>The Pump Assembler pulls parts as defined in customer work orders and assembles pumps using engineering drawings in accordance with established standards.</p>

<ul>
<li>Achieve the production plan as defined in the annual budget</li>
<li>Maintains inventory accuracy and performs cycle counts as defined in the branch’s annual objectives</li>
<li>100% compliance with Hydroflo’s safety requirements</li>
<li>No assembly related customer complaints</li>
</ul>
<p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></p>
<p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Verifies that all parts are correct and available to assemble current job.</li>
<li>Lifts and carries materials and equipment throughout work areas using appropriate equipment.</li>
<li>Uses proper lift methods for using electric hoist.</li>
<li>Assembles assigned product parts in accordance with work orders, Bill of Materials, blueprints and engineering drawings, following production standards and guidelines.</li>
<li>Uses hydraulic press, air drills, hand wrenches, tape measures and calipers during assembly.</li>
<li>Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards. Verifies measurements for accuracy and reports any problems or discrepancies to management.</li>
<li>Signs quality control inspection sheet for each completed job.</li>
<li>Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.</li>
<li>Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines. Safety shoes are mandatory.</li>
<li>Maintains neat and orderly work areas at all times.</li>
<li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
<p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p>
<p>Required:</p>
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Must be able to achieve forklift driving certification</li>
<li>2+ years of mechanical experience</li>
<li>Must be able to read and understand detailed work orders and translate that information into the pump assembly process, including basic math and measurement conversions</li>
<li>Able to work with hands using small hand tools, lifts, etc., for pump assembly process</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple projects where priority changes based on customer demand is frequent</li>
<li>Capability of communicating easily with supervisor and peers in a team environment</li>
<li>Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and up to 150 pounds with assistance</li>
<li>No travel required</li>
</ul>
<p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Work Environment</strong></span></p>
<p>This position works primarily in a production floor environment where large equipment and noise are prevalent. Safety gear is required in these areas.</p>
<p>This position reports into the site every day.</p>
