As we continue to grow, we’re always looking to identify talented individuals to join our team.</div>**This is a hybrid position that requires 2 days per week in office at our Chicago location** Syndigo is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Event Marketing Director to lead our Americas events strategy and delivery. This role will own the end-to-end lifecycle of our event portfolio—from industry tradeshows to owned conferences to internal programs—driving measurable pipeline impact and exceptional brand experiences.  You’ll partner closely with Sales, Solutions Consulting, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure every event is purposeful, well-integrated, and aligned to revenue goals. This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who thrives in both big-picture planning and detailed execution.  HOW WE’LL BE WINNING TOGETHER DAY TO DAY <ul> <li>Event Strategy & Portfolio Management  <ul> <li>Define and lead Syndigo’s overall event marketing strategy across tradeshows, hosted events, and internal programs </li> <li>Build and manage an annual events calendar aligned to company priorities, target audiences, and pipeline goals  </li> <li>Establish clear success metrics for each event, including pipeline contribution, engagement, and ROI  </li> <li>Analyze event performance and provide insights to improve future programs  </li> <li>Track and report on pipeline influence, ROI, and key engagement metrics</li> </ul> </li> <li>Tradeshow & Field Event Execution <ul> <li>Own planning and execution of a diverse portfolio of industry tradeshows (large-scale flagship events to targeted field activations)  </li> <li>Partner with Sales to identify target accounts and design pre-event outreach strategies </li> <li>Collaborate internally to drive awareness, meetings, registrations, and booth traffic</li> <li>Ensure strong onsite execution including booth experience, staffing, messaging, and lead capture  </li> </ul> </li> <li>Conference & Hosted Event Leadership <ul> <li>Lead the development of Syndigo-hosted events from concept through execution  </li> <li>Oversee venue sourcing, contract negotiation, and space planning  </li> <li>Oversee all aspects of event production including registration, agenda development, speaker coordination, catering, and A/V </li> <li>Create compelling attendee experiences that reflect Syndigo’s brand and deliver meaningful value </li> </ul> </li> <li>Cross-Functional Collaboration <ul> <li>Coordinate closely with Sales, Solutions Consultants, Product Marketing, and Customer teams to align messaging and goals  </li> <li>Manage speaker preparation and internal enablement for event participation  </li> <li>Partner with Demand Generation to ensure strong pre-event promotion and post-event follow-up  </li> </ul> </li> <li>Internal Events <ul> <li>Oversee planning and execution of internal events such as sales kickoffs, leadership meetings, and team gatherings</li> <li>Ensure internal programs are engaging, well-organized, and aligned to company culture and objectives  </li> </ul> </li> </ul> WE SHOULD TALK IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU  <ul> <li>8+ years of experience in event marketing, with a strong focus on B2B SaaS or ecommerce  </li> <li>Proven track record of managing both large-scale conferences and high-impact tradeshows  </li> <li>Deep understanding of how events drive pipeline and revenue in a B2B environment </li> <li>Frameworks and best practices for driving efficiency in event planning and execution </li> <li>Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously with a high degree of quality </li> <li>Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills  </li> <li>Experience working closely with Sales teams to drive event-driven pipeline  </li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">Your individual compensation within the budgeted salary range is determined based on your skills, education, experience, and internal equity. This position is Bonus Eligible.
