Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, entrepreneurial person with a team mentality and strong technical accounting and tax knowledge. You will be responsible for leading tax engagements and supervising a team of support staff. Our position provides a unique opportunity for significant growth within our firm, working directly with business owners and their financial professionals. Responsibilities <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Lead and support a strong portfolio of auto dealership clients, in addition to engagements across other industries</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Occasional travel to auto dealership industry conferences across the U.S. - typically 3 per year in notable locations (such as Las Vegas, Napa, and Charleston)</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Provide initial and/or final review support for federal, state, and multi-state individual tax returns for corporate business owners and high net worth individuals</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Build client relationships and serve as trusted advisor to effectively deliver superior client services</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Identify opportunities for value-added services and potential cross-selling of other firm services to existing clients</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Exemplary leadership skills and the ability to mentor, train, and develop staff members</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Support partner team in practice development; including attending conferences, networking events, and training and speaking engagements</li> </ul> Requirements <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">7+ years of experience preparing and reviewing corporate and individual income tax returns</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Active CPA or EA</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Proficient in project management including scheduling, budgeting, client correspondence, and research</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Strong attention to detail</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Integrity within a professional environment</li> </ul> Preferences <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Experience with CCH Axcess tax and Knowledge Coach</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Familiarity with automotive retail industry</li> </ul>   Location At TSS, we’ve designed a flexible work structure that enables both teamwork and independence, enhancing our employees’ work experience while promoting personal well-being.
