We strive to instill in all of our employees:</p> <ul> <li>A positive mental attitude that helps us to be a leader in the industry</li> <li>A commitment to building strong relationships, both inside and outside the organization</li> <li>A desire to learn, grow, and contribute to moving our strategy forward</li> <li>A need to create and to innovate</li> </ul></div><p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Employment Type:&nbsp;</strong><span style="color: #000000;">Regular Full-Time</span></span></p> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Shift: </strong><span style="color: #000000;">1st Shift</span></span></p> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Work Status: </strong><span style="color: #000000;">Onsite</span></span></span></span></p> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Position Summary</strong></span></p> <p>The Assembler A Performs a wide variety of duties required in the complete assembly and packaging of all units in the product line with minimum supervision.&nbsp; This position will be based on Water Street.</p> <p>Measures of Success:</p> <ul> <li>Timely painting and assembly operations in PHE</li> <li>Accurate cycle times for building and painting PHE’s</li> <li>Flexibility between PHE departments and final assembly department.</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Works from drawings, specifications, travel tickets, and weekly production schedule.</li> <li>Uses protractor, squares, rulers, power wrenches, hand drills and other common tools.</li> <li>Check weekly production sheet for units to be processed.</li> <li>Study drawings and specifications and perform prescribed assembly operations. Uses hydrostatic test equipment to check completed units prior to QC and AI Inspections.</li> <li>Performs basic maintenance work, as needed.</li> <li>Monitors quality of work, makes corrective adjustments and reports equipment malfunctions, defective materials or other unusual conditions to Supervisor.</li> <li>Uses material handling equipment, as needed, to move heavy weight materials.</li> <li>Maintain work areas in neat, clean and orderly condition and observe all safety regulations and procedures.</li> <li>Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li> <li>At least one year of manufacturing experience, preferably in a fabrication environment and specifically with tube bundle and heat exchanger fabrication expertise.</li> <li>Use of drawings, specifications, travel tickets and production schedules; use of adjustable measuring instruments where interpretation is required involving basic skills knowledge</li> <li>Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and effectively apply to assigned work</li> <li>Ability to navigate multiple windows in company Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) system to access production and resource data</li> <li>Ability to perform repetitive work requiring constant alertness or activity, and including standing and lifting</li> <li>Ability to manage time effectively to meet strict time deadlines and production volumes</li> <li>Requires judgment to comply with instructions, prescribed routines, methods and practices</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #007635;"><strong>Work Environment</strong></span></p> <p>The Assembler A will work primarily in a production setting where safety equipment or personal protective gear is required.
