About the Role

<p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Overview:</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Guidepoint’s Business Development teams are passionate about expanding our reach with both new and existing clients. We support all of Guidepoint’s service offerings, helping to build relationships and communicate how Guidepoint helps clients stay informed and make better business decisions. Our teams are motivated to provide custom offerings designed to help every potential client make the most of their partnership with Guidepoint.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Guidepoint is seeking qualified candidates for a Associate Vice President, Client Growth on the Institutional Sales team.&nbsp; This person will report directly to the Head of US Client Growth as they promote our subscription-based research service to various business units within existing clients (hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity, etc.), to grow overall usage.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>This is a hybrid position in our New York City office.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop a working knowledge of industry coverage and the competitive landscape</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Partner with management to increase user base at client firms. Monitor client usage to proactively promote Guidepoint subscriptions</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Conduct outbound prospecting to generate leads within existing clients. Follow up on warm leads</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Meet designated growth targets using a strategic and thoughtful process designed to partner with clients and add value to their process</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Onboard new users effectively</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Work closely with the client service team to collect feedback on open projects as well as advisors we have sent clients for review</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What You Have:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">3-5 years of sales, business development, banking, business consulting, and/or account management experience.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Broad base knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Excellent communicator is capable of handling high-profile clients (Hedge Funds, Mutual Funds, Private Equity, and Corporates).</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">A desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Initiative and ability to handle increasing responsibility over time.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong relationship management skills with stakeholders of varying seniority levels</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">AI fluency and experience using AI-enabled tools to support research, organization, prioritization, and written communication</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to use AI-enabled tools thoughtfully and responsibly, with attention to accuracy, confidentiality, data quality, and human judgment</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Curiosity about emerging technology and a willingness to continue building skills with new tools that improve productivity and client service&nbsp;</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What We Offer:</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The annual base salary for this position is $75,000 - $90,000.
