Sr. Art Director - Bilingual at Barkley

<h2><strong>Looking for a </strong><strong><em>bilingual</em></strong><strong> Senior Art Director to join our Chicago or NY creative team. Ultimately, we need a </strong><strong>Sr. Team, so partners are welcome!&nbsp;</strong></h2> <h2><strong>This role requires the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to provide support to our diverse customer and client base. Candidates must demonstrate fluency in both languages.</strong></h2> <h2><strong>To land this gig, you'll need experience concepting projects big and small and must be able to bring a desire to make things just crazy enough to work for a variety of national brands.</strong></h2> <h2>Must be able to submit an online portfolio.</h2> <h5><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></h5> <ul> <li><strong>Be based out of our Chicago or NYC office in a hybrid schedule / will provide relocation assistance to candidates interested in moving to either area.</strong></li> <li>Gain a thorough understanding of the client's business and industry.</li> <li>Develop creative strategies and ideas that are innovative and that sell.</li> <li>Concept and execute advertising consistent with the agreed-upon strategy.</li> <li>Develop original visual concepts.</li> <li>Seek out and work with outside suppliers (photographers, illustrators, etc.) and work closely with video and print productions to accurately estimate and produce work.</li> <li>Under the direction of the Creative Director, see all work through completion on time and on budget.</li> <li>Work productively and harmoniously as a teammate with Copywriters and Producers who share responsibility on a given product.</li> <li>Present creative materials to clients, as needed.</li> <li>Review proofs, rough cuts, etc. for accuracy before final production.</li> </ul> <h5><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></h5> <ul> <li>Fluency in Spanish and English required</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to think creatively and provide marketable solutions in conceiving, developing, and producing tactics.</li> <li>Broadcast production experience</li> <li>Bachelor's degree or industry equivalent years of experience required</li> <li>4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience</li> </ul> <p><em>The annual gross base salary range is $75,000 - $110,000 USD, depending on location and experience. This range represents the anticipated target salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and geographic location.
