<li>Maintains&nbsp;an&nbsp;on-going&nbsp;liaison&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;Governing&nbsp;Body,&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;Agency&nbsp;staff</li> <li>Coordinates&nbsp;service&nbsp;components&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;provided&nbsp;by&nbsp;contractual&nbsp;agreement&nbsp;and&nbsp;ensures&nbsp;hiring&nbsp;of&nbsp;qualified&nbsp;personnel</li> <li>Ensures&nbsp;adequate&nbsp;staff&nbsp;education&nbsp;and&nbsp;evaluations</li> <li>Plans&nbsp;overall&nbsp;development&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;Home&nbsp;Health&nbsp;Agency&nbsp;as&nbsp;set&nbsp;forth&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;Conditions&nbsp;of&nbsp;Participation&nbsp;under&nbsp;the&nbsp;direction&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;Governing&nbsp;Body</li> <li>Ensures&nbsp;Agency&nbsp;compliance&nbsp;with&nbsp;Federal,&nbsp;State,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Local&nbsp;Regulations&nbsp;Acts&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;resource&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;Staff</li> <li>Directs&nbsp;the&nbsp;implementation&nbsp;of&nbsp;improved&nbsp;work&nbsp;methods&nbsp;and&nbsp;procedures&nbsp;to&nbsp;ensure&nbsp;achievement&nbsp;of&nbsp;Program&nbsp;objectives</li> <li>Directs&nbsp;the&nbsp;standards&nbsp;and&nbsp;methods&nbsp;of&nbsp;measurement&nbsp;and&nbsp;implementation&nbsp;of&nbsp;agency&nbsp;activities&nbsp;related&nbsp;to&nbsp;process&nbsp;improvement,&nbsp;quality&nbsp;of&nbsp;patient&nbsp;care&nbsp;delivery,&nbsp;patient&nbsp;satisfaction,&nbsp;and&nbsp;staff&nbsp;satisfaction</li> <li>Reviews&nbsp;of&nbsp;existing&nbsp;policies&nbsp;and&nbsp;procedures&nbsp;on&nbsp;a&nbsp;timely&nbsp;basis</li> <li>Recommends&nbsp;revision&nbsp;of&nbsp;same&nbsp;when&nbsp;appropriate&nbsp;to&nbsp;QA&nbsp;Department</li> <li>Responsible&nbsp;for&nbsp;meeting&nbsp;the&nbsp;Agency’s&nbsp;annual&nbsp;fiscal,&nbsp;quality,&nbsp;and&nbsp;operational&nbsp;goals&nbsp;and&nbsp;objectives</li> <li>Maintains&nbsp;a&nbsp;current&nbsp;organizational&nbsp;chart&nbsp;to&nbsp;show&nbsp;lines&nbsp;of&nbsp;authority&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;patient’s&nbsp;level</li> <li>Collaborates&nbsp;with&nbsp;Human&nbsp;Resources&nbsp;in&nbsp;recommending&nbsp;rules&nbsp;governing&nbsp;conduct&nbsp;while&nbsp;on&nbsp;duty,&nbsp;working&nbsp;hours,&nbsp;and&nbsp;salary&nbsp;or&nbsp;per&nbsp;visit&nbsp;rates</li> <li>Completes,&nbsp;stores,&nbsp;and&nbsp;submits&nbsp;reports&nbsp;and&nbsp;records&nbsp;as&nbsp;required&nbsp;by&nbsp;State,&nbsp;Federal&nbsp;and&nbsp;Local&nbsp;Regulatory&nbsp;Agencies&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensures&nbsp;accuracy&nbsp;of&nbsp;public&nbsp;information</li> <li>Develops&nbsp;and&nbsp;maintains&nbsp;community&nbsp;relationships&nbsp;including&nbsp;but&nbsp;not&nbsp;limited&nbsp;to&nbsp;current&nbsp;and&nbsp;potential&nbsp;referral&nbsp;sources,&nbsp;customers,&nbsp;health&nbsp;care&nbsp;facilities,&nbsp;and&nbsp;community&nbsp;leaders</li> <li>Coordinates&nbsp;service&nbsp;components&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;provided&nbsp;by&nbsp;contractual&nbsp;agreement&nbsp;and&nbsp;ensures&nbsp;hiring&nbsp;of&nbsp;qualified&nbsp;personnel</li> <li>Appoints&nbsp;in&nbsp;writing&nbsp;a&nbsp;qualified&nbsp;licensed&nbsp;person&nbsp;to&nbsp;act&nbsp;as&nbsp;Clinical&nbsp;Manager&nbsp;and&nbsp;a&nbsp;similarly&nbsp;qualified&nbsp;alternate&nbsp;to&nbsp;serve&nbsp;as&nbsp;Clinical&nbsp;Manager&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;absence&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;Clinical&nbsp;Manager</li> <li>Coordinates&nbsp;and&nbsp;ensures&nbsp;that&nbsp;quarterly&nbsp;UR/QI&nbsp;(Performance&nbsp;Improvement)&nbsp;Committee&nbsp;meetings&nbsp;are&nbsp;held</li> <li>Maintains&nbsp;efficient&nbsp;workflow&nbsp;by&nbsp;ensuring&nbsp;adequate&nbsp;space,&nbsp;equipment,&nbsp;supplies,&nbsp;as&nbsp;well&nbsp;as&nbsp;ergonomic&nbsp;work&nbsp;areas</li> <li>Participates&nbsp;in&nbsp;Performance&nbsp;Improvement&nbsp;activities&nbsp;as&nbsp;needed</li> <li>Evaluates&nbsp;client&nbsp;and&nbsp;staff&nbsp;satisfaction&nbsp;survey&nbsp;reports&nbsp;and&nbsp;implements&nbsp;effective&nbsp;Plan&nbsp;of&nbsp;Correction&nbsp;based&nbsp;on&nbsp;findings</li> <li>Is&nbsp;available&nbsp;during&nbsp;the&nbsp;agency’s&nbsp;usual&nbsp;working&nbsp;hours</li> <li>Has&nbsp;the&nbsp;primary&nbsp;responsibility&nbsp;to&nbsp;initiate&nbsp;the&nbsp;emergency&nbsp;preparedness&nbsp;plan</li> <li>Performs&nbsp;the&nbsp;role&nbsp;of&nbsp;Disaster&nbsp;Coordinator&nbsp;during&nbsp;emergencies&nbsp;and/or&nbsp;disasters</li> <li>Follows&nbsp;agency&nbsp;policies&nbsp;and&nbsp;procedures</li> <li>Provides&nbsp;direct&nbsp;support&nbsp;and&nbsp;administrative&nbsp;control&nbsp;for&nbsp;all&nbsp;branch&nbsp;locations</li> <li>Performs&nbsp;these&nbsp;and&nbsp;all&nbsp;other&nbsp;duties&nbsp;as&nbsp;assigned&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;Regional&nbsp;Director&nbsp;of&nbsp;Operations</li> <li>Lifting&nbsp;objects&nbsp;up&nbsp;to&nbsp;40&nbsp;pounds&nbsp;from&nbsp;floor&nbsp;to&nbsp;shoulder</li> <li>Driving&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;variety&nbsp;of&nbsp;seasonal&nbsp;environments&nbsp;for&nbsp;2-4&nbsp;hours</li> <li>Exposure/risk&nbsp;category:&nbsp;OSHA&nbsp;Category&nbsp;3</li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Is a licensed physician or registered nurse, or holds an undergraduate degree; and</li> <li>Has experience in Health Services Administration and at least one year of supervisory administrative experience in home health care or related health programs</li> <li>Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills and is able to read, write and comprehend English</li> <li>Demonstrated competency in budgeting, finance, long-term planning, and interpersonal communications</li> <li>Proficiency in personal computer use, including e-mail, clinical, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software</li> <li>Working knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulations governing Medicare Skilled Home Health Services</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership and management skills including effective
