<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p>As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Capco, you’ll design and deliver scalable, automated, and secure cloud platforms that power the next generation of financial services. Working within cross-functional agile teams, you’ll drive the adoption of modern DevOps practices and continuous delivery frameworks that help our clients transform their technology landscapes.</p>
<p>You’ll work on both greenfield and enterprise-scale projects, spanning cloud-native, hybrid, and on-premise environments. This is an opportunity to deepen your expertise, gain certifications, and make a real impact in a collaborative, inclusive environment where your ideas are valued.</p>
<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for internal and cloud platforms</li>
<li>Drive improvements of developer productivity striving towards self-service platform engineering</li>
<li>Automate and optimise deployment processes using infrastructure-as-code.</li>
<li>Collaborate with engineering and product teams to enhance performance, reliability, and security.</li>
<li>Drive continuous improvement through innovation and experimentation.</li>
<li>Mentor junior engineers and contribute to Capco’s growing DevOps community.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience in platform engineering agnostic practises</li>
<li>Ideally experience with developer productivity and platform engineering improvements with large scale data platform</li>
<li>Experience with public cloud and ideally GCP</li>
<li>Expertise in containerisation (Docker) and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).</li>
<li>Experience with scripting (Python, Groovy) to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, CircleCI, or GoCD.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of monitoring, automation, and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Helm).</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Bonus Points For</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience in financial services or consulting projects.</li>
<li>Hands-on knowledge of test orchestration (Cucumber, Karate, Selenium).</li>
<li>Exposure to Kubernetes ecosystems (Istio, Kiali, Fortio).</li>
<li>Experience migrating on-premise systems to cloud platforms.</li>
<li>Interest in coaching and mentoring other team members.</li>
